Ответитьyou deserve more appreciation my friend
Ответитьenjoyed the vid. Good info and you are a funny guy!! Very entertaining..
ОтветитьWhat would you suggest for video then?
ОтветитьI have a Canon Sl1. Its an older camera now but was a good entry level consumer camera at an affordable price that allowed intechageable EF series lenses. I considered upgrading to an SL3 but at $1000 with a kit lens in 2023 its not happening. Thats about the sasme price as th R10 but I would have to chnge mount sstems eventually and need an adapter for EF seires lenses. Honestly iPhone cameras have gooten so much better and having a video capability that can meet professional levels with ACES and Log makes it a strong contender.
ОтветитьTo the point with all the pro's and con's - and not least with good humor 🙂 /me like.
ОтветитьMy name is Julio, and I too suffer from chunky camera syndrome.
ОтветитьPerfect.....you're storyteller ....love it....take care
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьWow!!! great video Boris!!! what software did you use to edit - procces to make your whole work flow??? thanks!!!!
Ответить:) nice
ОтветитьHello, I’m just getting started into photography and want to start doing street photography . I just purchased this camera and was wondering if there are any videos you would recommend for the right settings and presets for street photography . Thanks & loved the video ( this video is why i bought the GX7)
ОтветитьShout out to the one thing not mentioned in the comments below: the quality of your photographic examples. Most street photography reviews come with good reviews boring shots but yours are excellent, really well done. And as a daily street photographer myself I agree a tilting rear screen is a must have feature.
ОтветитьHey does the gx7 have focus position resume? Set the focus, turn camera off, turn it back on and it turns to it's last focus position.
ОтветитьHahahhaaa I really enjoyed watching your style of reviewing brother 🤣
ОтветитьVery funny and informative, well done. And damn, that camera?! It's from the future. I mean back then it was.
ОтветитьDid you stop making vídeos?
ОтветитьGreat video, thoughts & images
Ответитьis there a camera with 20mp and max 300$?
ОтветитьSuperb video, you have skills.
This is my favourite camera of all time, and when it launched it was the first time a bunch of key features had arrived in a compact Lumix body. The sensor was great, the front and rear dials were a significant upgrade over its predecessors, and the button layout was just right. And the grip! I think this is the most comfortable compact camera in the entire M43 line up. It's the reason I kept the 7 after buying (and then rejecting) the GX85 a few years ago. Pictures in good light were very similar, but the handling is much better on the 7.
Mine is quite worn now, having been on lots of long distance off road cycling adventures with me. I'm tempted to get a spare. If the GX9 had the 7's grip I'd get one of those, but I doubt we'll see that return...
I didn't get the gx7 but just picked up the gF7 with the 12-32 for under $200. Amazing deal compared to anything else I could find. It's going to be the perfect camera for my daughter in college.
ОтветитьThe only issue is the removable lens. I have now been in several venues that prohibits the use of cameras that are not fixed lens ones.
Anything else is tagged as "professional photographer" in which case you need to register and pay extra.
This came as a surprise, but I suppose any reason is good to make extra money.
nice done video and quite a lot of good informations
Ответитьhello! you mentioned you wouldn't really recommend this camera for videography, what camera would you recommend for footage at the same price?
thanks in advance and keep up the fantastic work!
Unfortunately no GPS. I travel over a wide area of Europe on coach tours. In order to see where I took a photo it needs to be geotagged. Cameras don’t seem to come with GPS anymore. Looks like I may need to bite the bullet & buy a top end smartphone.
ОтветитьI saw just skipping around the video to find the info i needed quickly... but then your jokes came. And i grabbed a cup og coffee and rewatched it from start til end... Lets just say i had to wipe coffee off my screen a few times
ОтветитьWhat lenses do you use for this camera?
ОтветитьI feel seen
ОтветитьRight. But what about Olympus E-M5? Better EVF. Less than 200 euros. Battery grip for 50euros. Better IBIS.
ОтветитьYou pay your money and you take your choice. There are a huge number of cameras that will satisfy your needs. New or used. Have a look on eBay to see what's available at a price that suits you. Personally I never leave home without my fully charged Lumix DMC TZ20 in my pocket. Never let me down, takes great pictures and video if I want it.
ОтветитьI've got a GX9 which is the latest iteration of the Lumix GX series. It's a cheap camera too. Got it for 500 Euros last year: new.
Very useful piece of gear for everyday photography.
very entertaining video
Ответитьrole the tape ''jonni'' jonni??🤣
ОтветитьFound it but unfortunately it cannot be shipped to my location that sucks
ОтветитьPentax Q7
Panasonic Lumix GM1
Panasonic Lumix GM5
Olympus E-PL5
Olympus stylus 1
Sorry to bother you with so many models to your way I just wanted to ask for an expert opinion hope you can help me as I'm not aware much of what to get just some basic need for a hobby and the selection above is what I narrowed it down, just wanted to know which one of then are more compact and fun to use
Would really appreciate it
Other then this what is your self opinion on which I have not mentioned above ?
Ah amazing review. Love it. Now just to find some GX7 on the cheap....
ОтветитьHi Boris - I can't believe I stumbled across a video that sums up my current sentiments exactly about trying to find an affordable(cheap) second hand micro 4/3 camera on a budget for video - I'm not after 4k or the latest features but with a tight budget I'm finding these Lumix and Olympus 4/3 micros really hold their value. I definitely will check out the specs on the G7. But the most important part of any camera is the nut behind the camera - great video cheers
ОтветитьThose were some incredible photos!
ОтветитьI bought 2 months ago Fujifilm X-T3 for 960 $ new. Insane video possibilities, even when being "old" model to todays X-T4 and X-T5.
ОтветитьI need telephoto for close up portrait of people.
ОтветитьOh wow thank u for recommend such tech solutions n budget consent. Love this Lumix Gx7
ОтветитьAn old model that is still good and cheap to get? Why not an Olympus XZ-1?!!!
You talk about a street photography camera for beginners, but then you complain that there is no microphone port and the like... The whole video was pointless!
Hey, there are actually two GX-7 follow-on. The GX-7ii in Japan is sold here in the States as GX-85 (this is what I shoot). The GX-7iii in Japan is sold here as the GX-9.
Right. Panasonic's product naming person is f'd in the head.
Each successive generation is successively better, e.g., 5-axis IBIS rather than three, 4K video rather than just HD. I most often have the 20mm f1.7 mated to my camera; I love it.
I can understand the why the preference for the Ricoh or Fuji on some technical merits, but it's mostly a wash. You know, "I've got a bigger sensor on mine", "Oh yeah? The Leica 42.5mm f1.2 on mine is way longer than your angry inch".
This video was so good. How do you only have 2k followers! Sub'd
ОтветитьGreat stuff my friend. Had a good laugh. Really on point. Keep going
ОтветитьNice and funny video!
