For those that don't know even getting a travel visa to Saudi Aribia is a huge PITA and will take you many months and a second passport to pull off. I simply can't fathom anyone wanting to live in or invest anything with Saudi Arabia and their very restrictive laws and rules. Keep in mind they have no religious freedoms, your wife/daughter/sister/female visitors have zero rights, no alcohol, its even illegal to date another consenting adult. The government had to change land ownership rules overnight to help with investors on this project so if its that easy to change its just easy to change back after they spend your investment. Big hell no from me!

How much water do they need? Where is toilet water going? Desalination is still very expensive, there are ideas for making it cheaper & faster, but as of yet these updates have yet to happen.

Very odd that the technology behind it is NOT getting discussed. There are so many issues that would require advanced engineering ideas. Hmmmmm. This is pretty odd. Sorry, just a couple of great engineers cannot pull this off. It would take teams of designers. Very odd that none of this information is out there, as major universities are usually consulted in these projects.

The most headache-induced part of this project is that MBS will probably jack up petroleum prices (and conveniently cut back on production) to finance the building of this monstrosity.

my concerns are two - when i am outside of the complex - how do i get from through and pass from one side to the other side - (why wouldn't trump have the idea to build a house instead of only a wall) - secondly the wind or the climate ... i mean that is a lot of canvas ... that's all ... for the rest 'what an exciting idea'
