Hey thanks for all the wonderfull videos. I like to ask you: have you compare the Blackmagic Multidock speed to the interna mac SSD HDs? Can you use 4 Tb SDD HD in every dock? I mean a total of 16Tb per dock? I am courious because i may need a system like this. Thnks in advance

I know this is an older video but I just came across this channel via your bus build channel. My wife and I are converting a bus as well and I've been through 10 or so iterations of what my portable studio rig will look like. Super helpful video. Thanks for taking the time to lay this out.

what external ssd do you use?

OWC 4M2 enclosure with four 8TB NVME to have up to 32TB of NVME SSD storage for all sample libraries in a very small mobile enclosure you can use with a new MacBook Pro M1 Max 64GB 32GPU 8TB SSD and your favorite keyboard controller and headphone. Very small and compact system with a lot of sounds that should allow to work on composer template.

I built my computer. It’s a Dell Computer with 20 GB of Ram, I plan on adding more Ram. It has an intel i7 processor and a NVIDIA GTX1060. It’s mostly used for gaming.

I have a travel rig and I love that fits in a Pelican Case. The best speakersI found for this was the Neumann KH80. It's a copy of my big studio. I love it!

Very useful! I'm putting together something similar, but leaning toward a laptop instead of a Mini. A laptop not only would offer a second screen, it would solve power supply/conditioning issues. Was it the rack mountable-ness of the Mini that made you go this route? I must say it looks sooo cool.

Impressive. How do you fly it? Do you feel comfortable with in the belly of the plane. As an Audio Recordist, I'd stick my cables and a stuff but I'd carry my recorders and mics with my on the plane. Curious about the bus. Go RV life!
