What Monitor refresh rate/Hz do you guys play on? (I'm still on 144Hz atm)

I have a stronger pc then bugha and i can tell u right f now that no matter if you have a 360fps consistent or 240 consistent its gonna be smooth as hell

the best 240hz monitor is the viewsonic xg2431, its also better at removing blur than the benq and its pretty cheap

well u need to have the 4000 series for this, also depend on which game, if u cant have over 360hz then its worthless, but if u cna then is awesome, u have games like overwatch 2 csgo or league of legends etc, which are much easier to hold high refresh rate, probably on the 5000 series u would be able to have always over 360 easily.

The real reason is that is that they are still using them in competition. They dont want to get used to things they cant use all the time.

I have several things to say to this trash video.

As others has stated before, Fast IPS is fast enough that the difference betwee a 360hz fast IPS an a 240hz TN panel is almost identical.

The real reason they downgrade is hardware limits that makes unable to run their games properly at higher frame rates.

"you will have a bad experience if your fps doesn't meet or exceed your refresh rate". I have not found this to be true in the slightest. 240hz on Counter-Strike 1.6 (capped at 100 fps) is WAY better than 144hz option. Try it if you don't believe me.

lol what makes you think TN is superior? today even the IPS monitors can achieve good response times and they just look more vibrant and clearer on top of it so IPS is clearly better. TN panels look like shit, the colors look greyed out

The only reason why u would want TN is dayac it is shite in every other way , ips monitors have caught up to TN's when it comes to response times and are also 200 bucks cheaper than a zowie (which is the only TN monitor anyone should consider buying) , for a very minor performance difference , also pros just don't care they are used to zowie monitors and they are the most used monitors at tournaments , but it's not even worth it anymore

As a 60hz monitor user I wanna say that if you are a hard worker and just want a good monitor to buy the perfect one will be a 144hz monitor. Now for the pros that are in endgames and tournaments a good 240hz monitor with low response time will be perfect. Now for the people that want a monitor which is as top of the line as it gets a 360hz monitor is really good.

naw its because most games you cant even hit 360 FPS so its redundant... 240 fps is more achievable the best IPS Panels are just as good as the Benq xl2546k

360hz don’t use IPS, they use a fast-IPS panel. Huge difference.

acer x25 360hz monitor available here for 400€/440 USD. it's insane

He can't reach that constant frame rate because dx11 and perf mode are broken ... If he stuck to it and ran dx12, he would have a consistent 360. Unsure of the 3090's dx12 performance, however with my 6700xt, 340-360 consistent with cap at 340 and freesync turned on

You have no idea what you’re on about, first minute and I’m lost for words. TN has a better contrast ratio, and better brightness. Also TN and IPS panels are neck and neck for ms response times, with a narrow .5ms difference at next. Not to mention that IPS panels get less ghosting than TN so having a 360Hz panel is going to give you the best response no matter what. Of you notice anything minor, you can always lower the cap for your monitor until you upgrade your system to better utilise 360Hz.

Also, all these top players are full of excuses and reasons as to why something isn’t good, I’ve been around computers and with IPS recently doing what TN couldn’t do without suffering to things like inverse ghosting, it’s only a matter of time before we lose TN forever just like we’re about ti with VA panels.

All in all, just stop trying to think you’re some know it all, for the love of god.

I dont know how but 360hz monitor is cheap on my country. when converted it around 500 Pound.
