Art Omi | Manitoga | Dia Beacon - A full NY day of art, sculpture, design, architecture, and foliage

DAY THREE of our Art & Foliage trip had an early start. As we drove from the Airbnb we stayed at in Upstate New York back towards NYC we decided to stop by Art Omi again, because it was on the way and we didn't feel like we saw it all just a couple days before. If you're ever thinking to visit Art Omi, just note that it's quite big, but fun to explore, so it's worth spending some time there (even if it's cold).

Then we had a quick pit stop for a fresh baguette at Bartlett House before heading to our next destination which was Manitoga / The Russel Wright Design Center.

There we experienced Wright's former home and studio, along with a bit of the woodland garden, all of which was like a breath of fresh air to be in and around. Thank you Russel, so much!

For our last main stop of the day we visited Dia Beacon, which is the museum for Dia Art Foundation's collection.

We actually have been to Dia Beacon in the past, so it was good to revisit and see the massive space and art on display, but also to experience some pieces from the likes of Richard Serra, Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, and Michael Heizer, to name a few.

Then for the night we decided to drive back to our Brooklyn apartment and get some rest before DAY FOUR.
