With so many advantages here, there are some disadvantages also. Bringing up children in the western society can be a nightmare for some people. You cannot hit a child under any circumstances. If the child tells his teacher, the police will knock at your door.

Indians have only two percent share of the UK population. But they are more educated and wealthier than any other community. Having three or four properties is very common among Indians here. And by the way, Indians produce least number of criminals for UK prisons.

When you reach sixty, all your medicines are free, your train and bus travel are free, and when you reach sixty seven, you also get pension. Everybody gets pension here unlike in India where only government servants get pension. And the hospitals here are like five star hotels where you get the best treatment and that is also absolutely free. Need I say more?

If you have very little education, and you are very hard working, UK is the place for you.

Do you prefer London over US? I am an Indian who lived in Canada and US for 15 years and looking to move to London next year. Want to hear your genuine thoughts. FYI (I am a city person not a suburbian thats why the move)
