Me and my friend have started rewatching Merlin recently and both of us were like... this is so gay. Like how could anyone miss that. There are scenes where the characters' conversations or motives don't make sense unless interpreted as gay. Also Gaius is such a cunty old man and a big favorite for us. Thought of your channel and sure enough, you have a video on it. So here I am :^)

so I found out about this video from Hbomberguy's video and I have to say I loved every bit of this video so much. Merlin is one of my favorite TV shows of all time and it brought me so much joy to watch through every clip and listen to your commentary as well. I also felt that the relationship between Arthur & Merlin was what made the show so great and the devotion these two had to each other is one of the purest forms of love. Also the fact that Merlin continued to live for thousands of years after and WAITED for the day Arthur came back is just so telling. His destiny should've been done by then. There was no other reason to.

I just watched hbomberguy's vid and heard that hack fraud James Somerton stole a lot of this video on his original upload so I came to watch it and it's so funny and good 😂 I also was reminded of Merlin's existence! I love the show in middle school but completely forgot about it and how much Merlin and Arthur love each other 😊 So thank you for taking me down memory lane!

This is the strangest way this story has been told. The story is called Merlin who is a servant to the secondary character Arthur who is the future king. Merlin thing is sorcery and that is illegal.

Ok, I didn’t watch the entire show just the first season, because I spoiled the show and found out Arthur dies (I’m pretty good to myself, I don’t do tragedy). But I didn’t just stop watching the show and never watch anything from it again, I still watched edits and the like so I feel fairly confident in saying they definitely have a thing, maybe it’s the script, maybe it’s the actors, but they have chemistry. However the sections about how Arthur falling in love with Gwen means he falls in love with Merlin… symbolically I can accept that, but that’s not what seems to be happening. Don’t get me wrong, I believe it’s possible to love multiple people at the same time, but based solely on Gwen’s stuttering admission that Arthur does not in fact treat every servants like he treats her, we’re supposed to read in between the lines and think ’no he treats Merlin like that too’ not ‘no In my head he must treat everyone like that but now that you mention it, I haven’t actually seen proof of that’.
Because I’m pretty sure, that’s what the scene was portraying; the first time Gwen realizes Arthur treats her differently from the other servants.
