Very thorough and informative, thanks. Still, I have a question I was unable to find an answer to no matter how much I search: who's the protagonist of this game? Do we have an in-game avatar like M&B or is it an off-screen presence like in Battle Brothers? It really baffles me how little info there is on "player character" given this is supposed to be an RPG-ish title.

a simple thing that gonna help you alot:
Always notice what the NPC badge colour
green mean friendly
white mean easy battle
yellow/gold mean medium battle
red is hard battle

so, if your party is quite depleted, try to avoid yellow or above, or you might lose some member

Awesome. I just bought this game and this helps me as this not the normal style of game.

This is a great game and hard. I have only 1 question. Who can knock out outlaws? For me look like not everybody can do it. Which class can do?
Archer cannot.

When you reach level 5 do you stop leveling up?

you made a woman be your cook, feminists gnna come after you. Watch out

You also want to have as few fronts as possible and let the enemy wast their turn by just running towards you. that way you can concentrate on killing the ones closest to you. especially when they're one level higher and have 2-3 more companions.

I hate level scaling in games. Hard pass for me.

I know it EA but the combat does look kind of dull.

Turn Based? Good.
RPG? Good.
Mount and Blade? Good.
Open World? Good.
Sandbox? Good.

World Scaling based off player progression? Bad.

I hate when games level like that (Skyrim). Ruins a lot of the sandbox vibe.

After I reach the other town called Cortia , MY GAME KEEP CRASHING WTH
