The fact that before the boat started, I think the captain or somebody said "Nobody can sink our boat, even God can't sink it!". So that explains 2 things: 1: God is real and 2: Always fear God, because he is the only one how can put you in danger if you don't have respect on him

Actually the compartments only wen as high as E deck so if they were to fill fully they would overflow into the next compartment causing it to sink faster, this is why the titanic began sinking slowly but it s gradually got faster

The 16 life boat rule wasn’t random, it was because that was the law for 10k ton+ ships. Ships had gotten so much bigger so fast, that there weren’t laws for ships as big as titanic yet. The problem is, titanic wasn’t 10k tons. She was 46k tons. Even though there may not have been enough lifeboats, the watertight compartment system was revolutionary at the time and made her the safest ship on the ocean.

Honestly, for a ship made in 1912, the Titanic was somehow built better than the Costa Concordia

Actually it wasn’t even the scratches. It was also an earlier fire in the boiler room which weakened the metal enough for it to be punctured so easily.
