Hello and thank you for this video!
We can't wait for it to be available in Europe, 1 month to go!
Question: is there any chance that this RODE INTERVIEW PRO will be natively compatible with the DJI OSMO POCKET 3?
I mean, without having to use the Rode Wireless Pro USB receiver?
It's sad that Rode is leaving more and more behind their ''rodelink'' series. I wish iot could be compatible with their receiver also :(
ОтветитьOmnidirectional…TWO THUMBS DOWN!! If this is supposed to be an interview mic it should have been supercardioid or atleast cardioid, but it seems its the signature Rode strategy nowadays to make a good feature set and sh*t on it with one of their stupidities
ОтветитьWould you guys recommend this as a mic I can use without having to edit any audio later with the gain assist? I just want to record and post without worrying about editing audio
ОтветитьI'd buy this for the on-board recording and use it purely as a stand-alone. Interchangeable capsules would be cool, though.
ОтветитьNot compatible with the rode reporter, Nice job Rode you screw your Customers again
ОтветитьHello everyone, how many "Interview Pro" can i connect to the RodeCaster Pro II please ?
ОтветитьGreat video, can the onboard battery be replaced?
ОтветитьI really like the way this one sounds on first impression.
Ответить...and before this there was just the Yellowtec IXM...now there are two...and only one of them's going to walk out the room intact.
Ответитьand timecode when paired with the Wireless PRO.. cool.
ОтветитьIs it only me who does not see too much advantage over a Wireless Pro with an Interview Go handle? Am I missing something?
ОтветитьWould it be possible to ask Rode if this RODE INTERVIEW PRO can be paired with the legacy Filmakers Kit's wireless receiver ?
Maybe through a firmware update ?
Or is there a hardware incompatibility ?
Thank you very much for your efforts to inform us. I truly appreciate it.
One of the few people you have to hold the microphone up Aiden.
A.bit like watching the movie Twins with Schwarzenegger and Devito.
If you are using it for an ENG mic you don't want an omni. You don't want every sound in the room. A cardioid is what you want. That is why the MD46 is the best ENG mic.
ОтветитьIt's not my bag for ENG. First, it does manage handling well. But, an updated XLR plug on from them is missed. There are many situations where a short/any shotgun will serve interviews better. The windscreen on offer won't help that omni in many, many real-world situations where a shotty and deadcat will, er, kill it. As well, any word about whether Rode make available, and maintain, battery replacement kits/a send-in program to mitigate future e-waste (Tentacle and others do such things)?
Look, I get it. This seems unabashedly aimed at 'the creator' segment where a no-thought all-in-one seems to be in demand; however, Rode is a company with some fantastic microphones and engineers (clearly). Use of "pro" would have better meant a two-piece XLR plug and excellent new omni kitted together and sold separately.
The Rode Interview Pro sounds pretty solid 32bit floating point...wonder how it will compare to the Zoom F3? Battery and storage capacity are impressive. Did you get a sense of price?
