Even me as Shaft Mammoth with double armor, in protection of my teammates, standing far away from enemies isn't safe from 1 shot kill.

don't forget 1 very important thing, which is the removal of XP, BP, and XP/BP modes, and the down of Starladder and weekend tournaments.
when they took it down, pretty much all the competitive scene was out of the game and all the competitive-lover players quit the game.
overall, the devs milked as much money as possible for tanki 2.0 and now both games are dead the cow is out of milk.

I really loved that game, I remember once people even went dominus mode to try to get the falling gem create. I dont know what map was called but there was many levels to it. I got it in the end but yeah.
I agree with you p2w ruined the game, the loss of correct controls made it so confusing, the loss of lobby system makes sense now but back then a big no no. I lost 2 days ago rare create old tanki create, i tried closing but lost it anyway. I think the game will like die out like really soon, they will be pumping out their last efforts from this. It will die by 2024, thats an assumption I guess.

I played this game like in 2012 to 2015 and came back just recently which is I downloaded from mobile. It sucks seeing this game being terrible.

From someone that still plays this game, scorpion, gauss, magnum, railgun and shaft are very deadly at long range.
Especially scorpion, that turret locks onto the enemy, and you can track him through walls, and pummel them with rockets!

It's completely dead now, sadly. :(

I decided to create a new account and play the game again for the first time in years. I joined the game and it was all bots. I played this game a ton when I was younger (and raged quite a lot). and when I played it again just yesterday It was genuinely fun, until I realized everyone was a bot. That would explain why it was so easy and everyone had their first and last name.

One of the things that really bothers me is that in like 2014, not everyone used supplies, it was pretty rare from what I remember. You know, the « druggers ».
But now supplies are such an important thing in Tanki, everything is affiliated to them now.

What happened to you was: A hacker took your account and hacked on it. While he was hacking, he ranked up quite a bit. Then you got your account back and due to your high rank must fight other players with better equipment. That explains why you getting 1 shotted by everything. You were unfortunate to came back to the game while there was a hammer meta too.

I feel the same with deadcells. Fun? No! Addictive? Yes!

I still play it, and it's fun + frusturating. The thing is, I have played it so much that I've reached legendary level and have very good gear and I haven't purchased anything. At first I died a lot too, but not anymore.
