Why does my mixer not show up? ive connected my mic and everything but no sound comes out after i play back the video. But Ive connected it before but for some reason now nothing is working. Please help

I would like to use one mic to record audio and another mic aiming backwards to detect background noise.
How can I use OBS (or other real time software) to mix those signals removing the background noise from the main audio?

I want output to be separate, channel 1 as gaming audio and channel 2 as voice audio. But I get channel 1 as gaming audio and channel 2 as gaming audio + voice audio.

I tried check 1 for desktop and check 2 for gaming. On OBS.

My problem is that my mic is picking up desktop audio, can you help me fix it.

hi, i have a slight issue, i run a dual pc setup, with an GoXLR, all sounds are good, i hear alerts from stream pc to headset.
but i have some sources in OBS like starting music or an video that i can show during stream, the viewers can hear all, but i cant hear the media source in the headset, monitor and output is on.

I always use studio Mode. And before I start a live streaming I always put a video with music. But when I change the music video to the live streaming the music CUT so cold.
And I want to know how I can fade really smoothly the sound when I change it to a live streaming?

I hear a very faint echo in OBS and not sure why. At first, I thought my new mic was picking up my headset but that wasn't it so I thought it was my interface but when I listened back to my recording it wasn't there. Not sure what is going on.

Hi...just dowloaded OBS and I love it. Your tutorials have been very helpful. I do have a question. I am trying to use this for recording a live acoustic band. I do need multiple mic inputs. One camera is enough. Can I set this to work with my presonus interface so I can individualize mic settings? Is the mic/aux considered mic 1? That control seems to dominate my other inputs. Their input volume seems dependent on the first input. I’m sorry to have so many questions. Any advice is appreciated.

OBS speaker button mutes the sources globally for all scenes tho... instead of keeping setting per scene...

If you want to monitor more than 2 tracks off of an audio interface (Focusrite) with a Mac, how do you do it. I would like to monitor as many individual instruments off the Focusrite onto different tracks and find the Focusrite is just summing them to a stereo pair in OBS. I have heard you can use something called Aois with a PC and Loopback in a Mac. Basically I want to put an aural exciter one one instrument as a VST on one channel so need to separate it out so want to monitor it individually. Then I want to route them back together to stream them out to a streaming platform. Therefore as an example, five separate instruments come into a Focusrite, then somehow they each track onto individual tracks into abs and record separately, then they stream out. to a streaming platform. I guess you can use Loopback or something like that to do that? How. And also I want to put a vet on one of the tracks. Thank you, hoping you know what to do.

I'm having an audio issue. There are a ton of videos on mic audio, but my problem is the desktop audio/gameplay. It sounds like it's in a steel container and a bit far away. I've messed with filters for the last couple of days. Changing and recording each change and I just can't get it. I'm using a Corsair Void Pro with ICue for my mic and listening. Is it possible the problem is the headset? I've searched Google as well, checking a bunch of forum type posts. Feel like I've hit a brick wall. =/

Hi! I'm a musician and I need to have 5 independent inputs, 2 voices, 1 guitar and 2 for audio backing tracks. Is it possible with OBS Studio? I tryed with my Tascam US-1641 interface but OBS studio only sees input 1 and 2, is it because it's too old? Now I'm working with a behringer xenyx 1204 usb mixing console but I'm having a lot of difficulties with the sound balance and I can't have a stereo sound, it sounds awfull. I watched a lot of videos but they're all related to gamers not musicians. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

Hm, why cant some audio settings of the mixer bound to the scene (for example muting mic on the "Title" scene).

I'm not really wanting to stream but what I want is an easy way to balance game and voice chat . Like a slider going from one to the other to get the right amount of chat and game audio

You can also right click an audio source in the sources panel and choose to hide an input (like your brio webcam for example) in the mixer panel once you have set it to -inf and muted.

I can get everything set up and going smoothly, but when I am not able to set up OBS to only record my master output. So when I am cuing up my next track that sound is coming through on my stream.
