This is such a comforting video for me, I always come back to watch🥺

I think Coda has such strong emotions and feelings and he expresses those in his games, where as the narrator is kind of emotionless and codas games was a way to feel something, so he shared that with other, even though at the time he thought he was doing it for coda (because he tries to hard for others) he was actually doing it for himself, Coda was scared of letting the world see his games and felt content just making them , and he felt betrayed by the narrator

After a quick Google search cause I wanted to know the relationship of the people in this story right now, I found out that this story is fake/fictional, though this is still a important message to take in, and I’m sorry if the fake/fictional part ruins your view on the story.

I know I'm late, but seeing the maze made me start thinking, and that maze Is codas interpretation of life. Some places you go, and it's keeps going on. Those are the happy parts of your life, the ones that go quick. Then you start running into dead ends. You start thinking that you mean nothing. You realize that in 200 years nothing that you did will matter. Unless you do something huge. When you realize that, you find something that will help you start to get out of that spiral of sadness. You see a new turn that leads closer to the end. You see a new chapter of your life. And then eventually, at the end of that maze? Death.

I love how it sounds like Davey is talking to us in real time though he's just a recorded voice for thousands to hear.

This video is so meaningful to me, im not sure why. I watched this a few years ago and suddenly I remembered this video and how much I loved it and how interesting it was to me. I kept trying to remember the title and finally I did. I'm so excited to watch this again because its such a cool thing to me.
Edit: I got to the housecleaning part and now im crying

I'm watching this in quarentine and this hit so much harder than it did in 2019

I feel like "Coda" is Davey's alter ego, like he is saying that he wants to make games but he has something weighing down on him, and so he uses this alter ego for himself, so he can show what he feels. Or another one is, that nothing was wrong with Coda, and Coda was making these sad games to tell Davey that he thinks that he is too stuck on ppl's validation or acceptance. It just feels odd and deeper than what it is telling us...sorry bout this Lil sad "story" or theory I guess you would call it, but it had to be told.

i think cada kept making prisons because he felt like he was trapped doing the same thing over and over again until he realized that he needed to do something else but he then he started the lamppost and i think he kept the lamppost because he felt that if he didn't then there wouldn't be any end to it and it would just be unfinished and then i realized that davey is coda just after all of the games he made until coda / davey felt like he finally understood himself for the first time in a long time and that is what davey wanted form this game
