BEST New Features in MacOS Big Sur

That's awesome that you were asked to give the presentation and be on the panel. Speaking of changing your life, it was actually your video about learning the Mac operating system back in 2015 that helped me to make the transition from windows. I'm blind and was very excited about the accessibility built into the Mac, but I couldn't find any good resources on learning it that were explained well enough for someone who couldn't see what was being done on screen. Your videos were amazing. You explained everything so well that I had know trouble following you and being confident enough in what I knew to order my first Mac. I still have to use windows for work, but for my personal computer, I'll never go back. I just wanted to thank you for that. You continue to explain all of the updates and everything your doing in a way that I am able to follow it. Not many tech people do that. Thank you again, and please keep up the amazing work! Hi David thanks for your videos I have found them so helpful as I switched from windows to Mac in the last couple of months so it’s a steep learning curve I’m using a late Mac mini 2014 and have upgraded to Big sur my question is do I need antivirus on this latest System? Loved your class as always. One issue I had, I was unable to do any video editing on my MacBook Pro. In many cases I kept the error message “Unsupported Video Format”. I shot the video at 4K 30 FPS on my 12 Pro Max. Any thoughts?

David I think the best new feature is also the one with Messages. Now they are like my Iphone. I have subscribed to you because when I got my Mac in 2017 I was not familiar with them at all. Your videos have been so entertaining and useful and I've learned so much from them. I do consider myself a "super user" now and really appreciate you getting me going with Mac! Thank you!!! David. its great to see you back again. What I love about your tutorials specifically is the way you conduct them, in such a way that no matter how difficult a subject, I am able to follow along. I lost my sight 2 years ago, and struggled. However, I have learned so much from you, and have a confidence in using my Mac that I would not have , had it not been for your tutorials. In every video, I find something useful and interesting, and most every time, I can apply my new learning.

The control center is to touchy for the mac

Thank you, David, you covered many features quickly and completely. My favorite feature was the Safari tab previews. I also liked the widgets feature, the Control Ctr, voice memos, video editing in Photos and the password monitor.

Thanks for the info. I learned some stuff about my new iMac Big Sur. :)
