Zorin OS 16 Pro - STUNNING Windows 11/macOS Alternative

I think there is no use of buying this. We can just make the layouts ourselves by some changes in settings and adding extensions. And regarding the apps, TechHut has shown us the names of apps which we can directly install.

I will easily pay the $39 which I originally thought was $399 (which I still would have paid) to get The F***K Off MS Windows... They've Really Blown it over the last 10 years since the invention of Shadow Building through Forced Windows updates. They are no different than digital rapists...

Do you have a video which shows how to use the zoom in and out feature to magnify the screen? I'm legally blind, and I need to see that in action, so I can decide if Zorin OS will fit my accessibility requirements. Thanks.

GNOME has an extension for the very issue you had with the Audio navbar. Install it and you get all those options.
Also the Pro version comes with Microsoft alternative fonts which is a fix for Office files layout

Dude, you are hilarious with the audio inputs lol. That is a big no no for you. For me, in arch based system, no drag and drop!

i think zorin core should just be called zorin os and if you pick minimal install it installs the lite version and the pro should exist in the normal version just add stuff if you buy it

the zorin pro is too pricey for things that you can basically install yourself
if they sell it at only $9 people will buy them without thinking just to support

HI. Can i run Cakewalk by Bandlab, Samplitude, Ableton Live, Davinci resolve, kdlive, and Vegas on it ? and does it come with a build in daw and a build in VE ? i did not find anything about these questions so i appreciate it if you have the answers for me , Thanx a lot.

A little late but I agree with you about the payment. $40 is super cheap in comparison to a windows license key or spending a ton of cash on a mac. In my opinion distros and all open source projects need to become payed products. This free stuff only harms the movement and it becomes a cop-out for subpar and in the end abandoned projects. I understand open source is a great way for people to learn about technology but eventually most projects need to become full blown companies in order to offer quality products like Zorin is. I support all paid open source projects and even payed for apps and distros even if I won't be using them for too long. ElementaryOS and Zorin are right to charge for their products, I love what they stand for and the products they are offering. I don't mind paying at all.

I made better win 11 desktop than these Zorin guys with my Kubuntu installation. Without using commands. I hate commands even more as I'm getting older.

I just installed Zorin 16 core to replace the Microsoft software and it is the first time to use or even see the os. I have to say that I really like it and good bye to Microsoft windows 11, they are trying to bully everyone into buying new computers for their own profit. I for one will not be bullied into it when I have 8 computers that run great.

I am a believer that an operating system should be just a base operating system and simple ways for people to install what they need. With the Linux distros adding in the different custom gui's. I am not a fan of these distros with all of the programs that only a few people will use.

You could make a shortcut to your sound settings on the taskbar. Also, you can center the icons either on the bar or monitor. Be sure to add the "show desktop" button. Use Tweaks to get the day of the week on the clock and to swap Caps Lock and Esc. Also Input Remapper to remap your mouse keys. If you're using Chrome, the scroll speed fix extension is a must. Add ClipIt to manage your clipboard.

I paid because I want it easy with the 'Mac layout.' I am waiting for the 16 Pro Lite for some older laptops. 15.3 and lower versions are working great for me too.

I wonder is it supporting vs code and android studio etc and other mobile developing tools.

So basically pro is development donation since it's mostly free stuff that you can manually install on the core version yourself. Which would be my preferred way since less bloat. It's nice with barrier and the themes etc so yeah. Good to support development but definitely not necessarily

This is a great price for someone who hasn't used Linux before and doesn't want to have to mess around but wants away from windows and apple and google.

If you dont want that much preinstalled apps get core if you dont mind it and want to support zorin get the pro one

Zorin OS and Pop OS are killing it with GNOME

Change evolution to thunderbird. Évolution is painfully slow.
