Ok, I think I figured out what the dev meant on the egg hunt dev forum post. Telanthric thought when he said "This year will be no different" was saying that there will be an egg hunt but before he said "this year will be no different," he said something about how the egg hunt evolves every year. So what he is saying basically that the egg hunt will change this year. This also explains the quotation marks around egg hunt.
