What i did was "clear the app storage and cache".

Then log in back.

Worked on mine.

After that, in the chats section, I still have an icon mixed in with people I talk to that says marketplace with nothing in it.

I have over 60 to delete, want to delete all at one time. Any ideas?

How do you delete marketplace its self ?

I wanted to delete the 1000 msgs in one go. Not by deleting one by one. I need a solution to that. Otherwise, deleting msg is easy.

When you click "Delete" then you get "Once you delete your copy of this conversation, it cannot be undone." which deletes only my copy, not on both sides. So, if you managed to run into a scammer (like I did unfortunately) you can hardly do anything else than reporting them to Facebook.

I am AMAZED, (well not really) that THIS IS A NO SOLUTION PROBLEM that WE'RE ALL WANTING RESOLVED? Guess the developers don't need or desire to sell thing's on their own glitchy designed Marketplace! Else, this wouldn't be an issue!

The video didn't answer all my questions but it put me on the right track. I use the desktop app and I do not have FB on my phone! Too much garbage cluttering my phone. but using your video, I was able to get rid of all the messages that are no longer useful. Thanks.

BUT, when I go into messenger there is no " hamburger " option in the top left AND when I click on marketplace it says' no conversations '😣BUT WHAT BUGS ME MOST, being OCD, is the red message alert on both my phone and iPad. I even have to put a dark sticky note over it. HELP!!! And thanks in advance.

Are they excluded? If I delete a conversation in my AD Do I only delete it for myself, not for the other user? Will he be able to find me again?

You can’t swipe left to archive any more it doesn’t give the option so how would I delete them from my inbox
