My bunny Oreo has a routine, he loves to sit & be petting in the morning while I'm reading the news or drinking coffee. He loves to follow me around the house during the day. In the evening, he loves to be with his family so he goes from one to the other for "LTP" (long term petting). When he's feeling good, he stretches out in the middle of the floor just to "chill" with us. Periodically, he'll hop up to check in & get a few more minutes of petting.

I have a bunny that came to me and my husband's backyard a bout 2months ago and stayed about a month but now comes and goes every day to eat what I feed her. Sometimes she lays around, hops around eating the grass and comes when I call her and eats out of my hand but will not let me touch her. Anything I can do to get her to stay longer and let me pet her head a little? I don't know where she goes and I worry about her

@Lorelei Carlson here is the answer to how I spend time with my bunny I have a bunny I have used 12 inch traffic cones I taught my bunny where there is a cone in a spot in the living room don’t go near it or around it because of the cones being used I have saved the wires for the tv being chewed the cones are a way of telling my bunny don’t go over here for your safety yes I watch my bunny very closely my bunny has a mini soccer ball I place it in the center of the room she starts pushing it around the room for exercise I don’t inflate it all the way so it is soft just enough to be round I have set up mini bowling games for my bunny she will push the ball to knock down the pins the pins are Snapple plastic bottles while she hops around the room I setup games for her to play I have a rest area for her to relax it is like a field day for my bunny she loves it I also think Lennon is a very beautiful bunny 🐰

Lorelei hi my name is Amanda I put my bunny in a cage when I go to school I also have 3 cats and I am worried that she’d pee everywhere and hurt her self she recently also fell out my bed

I have a really cool arse rabbit. Shes unvax, un-neutered, i dont groom her, but she feels good all the time, ppl think shes frequently groomed and im like na, they do it themselves. Although, i hang out with her and pat so maybe that helps with hair removal. Shes nearly 7 years young...shes springy and has lots of life left. I dont cut her nails, she digs a lot so that keeps it trimmed. I don't give her dried hay but i do give her lots of fresh grass and dried leaves plus cardboard. The cardboard keeps her teeth trimmed and the fresh grass has her digesting like no tomorow. I do invest in what is considered the best and most expensive pallets formulated by vets (it has grains in it though 😮; wheat and oat etc). Her and I only eat organic foods, and drink distilled or rain water. I rarely visit the vet and on the rare occasion that we do, they are amazed at her high degree of wellness. Shes so well that vet visits are rarely required. I'm the same, haven't had a cold in 4 years and or been to the Dr. I take care of myself naturally through what i eat, and how i live. She's freeroam has always been and moves freely indoors and outdoors. I don't control her. She comes in when she wants and goes out when she wants. When i lived out in the country i won't see her for days...she do her thang, hang out with other animals (donkeys, chickens, bush rabbits. She was afraid of the cows though) and then comes back when she's ready. I believe its becasue she loves me. If you treat them right, they'll come bk without you needing to trap them.
I don't shut blinds so she's connected and in sync with the rhythm of day/night. All this natural remedies go a long way. My 2 cent, and alternative care approach.
Shes plays with balls and so cheeky... 😂
Oh and I don't restrict her food either...she knows how much is enough for her, unlike humans.
Oh and...in terms of plants they also know whats edible and whats not. As humans we think we know better than them and we don't. I have loads of house plants and she figured it out herself. I think the closer to nature animals her (inc us) the less interference is required.😊

But going to a vet is super expensive for my parents

I ordered some hay for my rabbit who I’m adopting on Friday and it’s Kaytee Timothy hay. I noticed there are like those little fuzzy seed things in there. Is that alright for bunnies??

Our bunnies are outside bunnies so they have to be in a cage over night cause if they are outside their cage they can dig their way out and escape or they can get eaten by a Fox so that’s why we do that

Had a female rabbit 10 years who loved her cage. Door was always open except at bedtime. She chose to go in to potty, nap, etc. She was very shy and felt safe there despite being allowed to free roam the entire house.

My sister just bought a 2 month old Holland Lop bunny and we have a circle gated area in a room with a protective floor covering for her pen, with litter box with hay, covered bed and her eating/drinking bowls. I'm assuming is is much better than a cage, because she has room to jump and run. My sister tried to let it roam free in her condo, but it keep getting into small tight areas, making hard to get her out.

I know it isn’t really related to this video but a few days ago I introduced my bunny to my room, but it got like so territorial whenever I stepped in my room he would bite me, but I’m the one who introduced the room to him.

My bunny free roams unless know one is home witch is 2 to 5 hours at the most and 9 ours at night why we are sleeping, is that bad? I live in a 1 bedroom apartment.

A few years my bunny fluffy died she lived outside, my grandma would only give her carrots, plants, and no hay or pellets, she had no litter box, the hutch was small, and she was aggressive, she died when she was I think 6 years old I think she died to overheating or bad nutrition. I have 2 bunnies now Nami and nogi they live in a cage but I’m making steps into getting them in x pen/ getting my parents to let them, letting them play on my bed for 4 hours and according to your most recent video me and my sister are good bunny owners. The last thing we need to do to make them happier is to get them an x pen I can’t free roam cause i have a big house, I live with my parents and grandparents

I have two bunnies. They free roam from 7am to 10:30pm. I caged them at night though. Is that wrong?

So Ik I’m pretty late to the vid but I Am keeping my bunny in a cage (it’s pretty big) to litter train her but sometimes I let her out but when she has learned how to be litter trained she will move up to my room and kinda free roam is that fine?? Also I LOVE your channel as a 1 time pet owner❤

How do you allow the bunny to free roam when you sleep? I love my bunny alot but fear them burrowing or biting something they shouldn't

We have a few routine petting sessions throughout the day. They love one on one attention, talks. They enjoy listening to me talk to them individually. It’s so cool to observe them responding to my voice inflections! Petting always is done while they are sitting on the ground. I make a point of not lifting them or carrying them because bunnies don’t usually enjoy being carried. Forehead scratches, behind the ears, above the nose, cheek scratches, and even gentle massage of their jaws, and if they’re relaxed enough I do the full body sweep with my hand from nose to tail. They love love love being petted because it’s like being groomed for them.

How often do you brush your bunnies

It’s always best to do yearly checkups from when you get your bunny so you get to know your vet & they can check things you can not. Being established with a Vet with your bunny then you can call if you have any questions. If you have never taken them there until there are problems might be hard to fit into schedule immediately when you need to get in & usually will not answer any questions over the phone.
