@etomas6 I use gears yeah: better overall control plus 5kmh extra faster.

This game blew my fucking mind back in the day... the first time i used the boost (which didnt use the clichèd "PSHT" sound from the fast and the furious and played the music louder.. unlike burnout 2, which in my opinion sucks).. the music went down, the sound of the engine and passing cars roaring through my ears, the perspective effect.. the pounding heartbeat.. it was an incredible experience.. one that ill always remember.. not to mention the first time i crashed..

I miss this game. Best part was draining your boost while in the oncoming lane!

Il était bien ce jeu mais les bots étaient vraiment vicieux quand il étaient devant ils provoquaient des accidents et bizarrement ça les ralentissait pas (ils repartaient aussitôt) alors que le player avait une à deux secondes de blocage

Burn out 1 is better than 2 on racing mode

Coming to this from Burnout Paradise can make the experience somewhat easier, only there's no manual transmission in Paradise and also no speedometer.

The last crash serves you right when you don't use your boost!
