Railway clubs in South America brings to mind Penarol in Uruguay, who were formed as the Central Uruguay Railway Cricket Club in 1891, whose first club president was a diasporan-Scot born in London called Frank Henderson, who was not a railwayman as such, but an accountant. Penarol won the first ever Copa Libertadores, quite the challenge to emulate that now!

Hi lads - AWESOME pod. Biggest compliment I can pay u is I have NEVER listened to a podcast in my life, until now.

Just on save ideas I had an absolute blast in Poland, with the extended polish 4 tier database with a club from Krakow called Wieczysta Krakow.

They have a chairman who makes Ryan Reynolds look tight. They also have a squad packed with players aged 26 + in their prime.

You can add young talent along the way, they also have a fortune to spend from memory upwards of €2million to start.

The owner then continually pumps cash in, I took them to back to back league titles and stable mid table in the 2nd tier.

They play in a really funky yellow and black number, just wondering if anyone else on the planet has managed them lol

playing a journeyman and im currently at Bordeaux after 5 seasons getting badges and experience worldwide. I didnt realize i was doing a fallen giant really... i mean i did accidentally build a nation by winning the UECL with Aarhus in Denmark while saving them from relegation. Denmark is still 9th in coefficient because of my efforts
