Do you know of any PRIMARY Sources that teach that the Waldensians kept the Sabbath? I've been looking for quite some time, but can't find anything but sources, various making the claim, but not referencing any primary documentation. So any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Ironic. Cromwell supported Waldensians being persecuted in Europe. And on the other hand, he butchered and trafficked Catholics in Ireland..

My Great Great Grandfather followed the Waldensian Saints and missionaries to America first to be settled in Ogden Utah . He would later move his family to Vadese NC which would become the largest Waldensian settlement in America. Myself, I have returned to Utah to follow my ancestors of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The advantage of the Jews is that they inherited the scepter, the law and legislator and shoul not depart from them even though they the house of Judah ( Jews ) sinned worse than the house of Israel it’s sister. The great promise God to Abraham Isaac and Jacob was I will make you a father of many nations. Not just one but many. Genesis 35, 48 and 49 chapters tells us this. Just Ephraim alone was to become a commonwealth of nations ( group, company) but Manasseh was to become the single greatest Israelite nation. We can trace Dan ( Denmark) Reuben ( France ) ect when God returns , He said I will gather Ephraim and it’s brothers Israelites ( other tribes: meaning the house of Israel and Judah and its brothers Israelites; meaning Benjamin and Levi. The house of Judah. To make them one nation again and no longer two separate nations. It’s time open our eyes and understand our true identity. The waldenses were some of the tribes of of the house of Israel. God said that the house of Israel was going to be filtered through gentile nations but will finally plant them in a new land and move no more. After 586 during the slavery of Judah to Babylon God used Jeremiah to tear down the crown from Judah to plant it in the house of Israel whom had been without a king after their own captivity to Assyrian. But by the time of Judah’s captivity to Babylon. The house of Israel had gotten their freedom and headed northwest into Central Europe into the sea. Ireland, Scotland and England.

Us Mennonites, were Waldensians before being nicknamed Mennonites in the 16th century when Menno Simons began leading this group of Believers in Northern Holland (Friesland), moved by their strong faith and immersion upon the confession of their Faith (thus no infant baptism). 7th day Shabbat keeping and Feast keeping (Leviticus 23) and clean eating (Leviticus ch 11)...eventually falling for the Road to Rome, perhaps because of the persecution for rejecting the ways of Catholicism. Jeremiah 16:19 prophesied this time! YaHWeH-YaHshua always preserves a Remnant! Some of us have been returning to the Roots of our forefathers, which is Torah with YaHshua, Messianic Believers! Something like 66 wars were fought against the Waldensians. They are to be revered. The final movements will be rapid ones. I'm pretty sure that we have less than 10 years left before the 2nd coming and much will happen before then.

My family was Waldensian from the beginnings of the movement until the 1800s when my great grandfather left for America. Crazy to hear about all the trials they went through. I know one of them was attacked on Christmas taken back by the church and burned at the stake.

I am Native American/American Indian, by descent from the federally recognized tribes.

I also have non-Indigenous ancestry. By my grandfather.

This is my grandfather's heritage. They went to the United States in 1850. The Italian heritage in America is largely associated with Catholicism, but that's not universally true, which, can make it difficult to represent.

I just know they're the last of my folks to get to America. Which is significant in it's own right.

The Waldensians seem to be very similar to the American Restoration Movement, similar beliefs and goals. Proves that God indeed does always preserve a remnant.
