hot pools are also very low in oxygen
ОтветитьWhen you tap on the thumbnail hoping for something about Ethiopia and it is. 🙂
ОтветитьI would love to see the Maricaubo (sp) Lighthouse.
ОтветитьAs a Trinidadian, super proud to see the Pitch lake featured here and its contributions to science! 🇹🇹❤️🤍🖤
ОтветитьAs a Venezuelan, I refuse to believe any other explanation besides "Black magic fuckery and/or an ancient curse" for the Catacumbo Lightning.
ОтветитьNeat lake… someone get that lady a samich.
Ответить50% salinity. That isn't salt water. That's wet salt.
Ответитьit's been years since i went to the tar tar pits
ОтветитьInteresting video... was kind of hoping for Spotted Lake in Canada, though.
ОтветитьHow about waterbears? Or would they just go into hibernation?
ОтветитьJust put an electricity collector thingy at that lake and collect all those succulent strikes of 1.21 jigawatts! xD
ОтветитьJacuzzi is a brand name, and I doubt they'd approve of their product being associated with death.... maybe you ahould call it the hot tub of despair.... Just sayin'.
ОтветитьI know it's dangerous but why not build a big ass electric battery and a rig to use that lightning to turn it into usable electricity could you imagine the amount of free power it could make with all the lightning that's granted to strike and there's a few hounder places just like it there on place that's always having lightning storms and it's blue lightning not yellow/orange like typical lightning but the idea could give us more clean power who knows maybe I'll get enough donations and build it myself 😂😂😂
Ответитьexplosive degassing. I know how that feels
ОтветитьWild lakes part 2?
ОтветитьRe Maracaibo: hot air does not rise. It's displaced upward by buoyancy. The colder, denser air from the Andes lifts the warm and most marine air.
ОтветитьSuch a cool video!
ОтветитьWhat if all of those organism evolve to something more in the future? 🤣
ОтветитьBeyond earth.. ? Huh. Can't even get to the moon..
ОтветитьThe girls nose rings are very ugly and your very stupid to continue to say that things are millions of years old since you have no proof of that.
Ответить"These creatures are on the edge of instant death, so maybe give them a break." Can do, Katie! I will never again speak ill of the near-instant death, no sunlight, borderline toxic animals that are out there. They make my life feel like a total cakewalk.
ОтветитьIf we could harnest lightning for electricity 😢
ОтветитьHelibacter pylori is the one that cause stomach ulcers. It has a very interesting story behind it
Ответитьmfs be like "yeah it's 30 to 512 crebulios units" as if it's a unit anyone who isn't literally a career scientist uses
Ответитьr
ОтветитьI wonder if it's possible, if we know the composition of Titan's sludge and if there's not life already living in it, to drop some of our sludge bacteria in it and see if that bacteria survives and evolves there.
ОтветитьYou guy are great, but that business where you put the text up while you’re saying it drives me up the goddamned wall! Pick one.
ОтветитьUmm "Beautiful Lake" is a pic of "Emerald Bay" Lake Tahoe.
ОтветитьWhen I pee in the backyard it makes the grass grow
ОтветитьHow does gravity work 🤔.
ОтветитьMono Lake in Cali, the magnetic lake and the upside down lakes in Cameroon that turn over and release vast amounts of CO2 are interesting as well.
ОтветитьYou may be superintelligent pandimensional beings who are kind enough to teach us about the complexity of everything, and I admire all of you from SciShow for that. But I really do have my concerns, that due to the speed of your speaking and the lack of any pause between your sentences, much more will remain in an average viewer's brain than the admiration for so much intelligent information in such a short time. If this is, what you want you ytr have ten points of ten. But some breaks would catapult your work intoastronomical heights.
ОтветитьI'm glad that, as you've seid, cassini is still around. I thought that the mission was endet. I need to look up the new results.
ОтветитьI really miss Olivia as a host.
ОтветитьSo what ?
Ответить40k fans watching this video: Of course that mountain is producing different kinds of gas and theyre all bad
ОтветитьImagine being desiccated by seawater. Jacuzzi of despair, is aptly named. I've not even gotten to experience the ocean, let alone a body of salt water. So It's beyond my ability to even comprehend.
ОтветитьCan I just say how much I appreciate that you called Sir Francis Drake an “English Privateer”? Definitely a pro-native perspective. :D
ОтветитьOh, I finally get why lava lamps are called lava lamps, huh
ОтветитьAll this discussion about how humans could be placed by other beings in every sci-fi movie…we’re leaving out that we might be the ones in the future that seed other planets with OUR life forms…we are the thing we fear…
Ответитьyall is cassini dead or not bc im sure i celebrated her descent into saturn like 5 years ago but according to this she isnt finished??? shes haunting me
ОтветитьNot even water bears?
Ответитьexplosive degassing sounds like an extremely painful fart lol
ОтветитьI call dibs on "Jacuzzi of Despair" as a band name
ОтветитьQuibble - isn't jacuzzi a brand name, not a generic? I thought the phrase was peculiar and reiterated far too often. Or was that simply an in-joke? Weird, indeed!
ОтветитьHas anyone thought of using all this south American lightning and generating electricity?
Ответитьso if we put a sea cucumber in the Jacuzzi of despair, does it become a sea pickle?
Ответить
