Last time ive played Poland, ive ended up with colonies spanning across the entire north america, 6 marches with FL of 30k each and became a military hegemon, whilst not exceeding 2k development. The world wasnt impressed, but i didnt give them a reason to pull the trigger on me either, cos i was a peaceful Poland, busy shaking down my colonies for chump change some call "tariffs", whilst not getting anything out of them, except extra merchants, FL, manpower and... about 400k free troops that would or wouldnt show up to a fight? I guess? Then ive had to stamp down on revolutionaries that popped up all across Europe. Not because i dislike communism, but... actually, its precisely because i despise communism... and the fact their presence was riling up my colonies.













Disclaimer: the peaceful part of the game began after ive conquered everything all the way to Moscow, annihilated the ottomans, and partitioned them into the mentioned marches. Colonies appeared side by side of me gobbling up Lithuania (rip some Irish minor, who served as a trampoline for me to get to the new world... ive handed him back to the English, after ive got the colonization range... "sorry mate"). Abstract Poland run achieved.

Refusing PU with lithuania is a right thing to do.
Golden liberty prevents you from selling titles since you can not get land back from them.
And elective monarchy is hands down WORST goverment ever, you never get good rulers and have to spent absurd amount of prestige to not get foregin heirs that are usualy trash.
And then are the events, lots of realy annoing events you get from elective monarchy drainig reform progress and mana.
On the other hand if you eat lithuanin provinces you need for mision you can get free PU with hungary before austria PUs them, and since Bohemia is enemy of austria you can get another PU on them after stealing Bohemian vassals with age ability, this way you get 2 PUs you can feed all the balkans and HRE to, without straining your admin cap.
