NOTE ON CORD LENGTHS: I just went in and retested this pattern and made the starting cord lengths shorter- I updated it to the proper lengths in the description so you shouldn't have any wasted cord now. I'm SO SO SORRY about that!!! 😓Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you for teaching 🙏🏼
ОтветитьMade the most beautiful hanger just at the first try. Thank you
ОтветитьHow long is this hanger from the bottom of the pot to the ring when finished, not counting the tassels?
ОтветитьIs there somewhere you can go 4 an 1h or 2 to learn macrame
ОтветитьI have tried this three times. If you do 25 half nots the outer cords are not long enough to make the square knots 12 inches down from the wrapping knot. You end up with 12 cords to make them and not 16 as in the video demonstration.
ОтветитьI love the look of this. It looks relatively easy for me to try. I'm going to have to make my way over to a craft store soon for some macrame rope so that I can make one.
ОтветитьWhat size cord should you use for a plant Hanger? 5-7” pot
ОтветитьThank you. It worked! I'm so proud of myself! ha ha ha Great.
Ответить🙏💜😊
ОтветитьIs there a simple way to calculate the lengths of rope needed for smaller or larger pots? :)
Ответитьhow many cords do you use
ОтветитьWhat do you do with the extra cord for the 25 square knots?
ОтветитьMy problem is I never heard the number of cords!🤷🏾♀️
Ответитьwhere do i find the length of the cords
ОтветитьThank you for sharing! I just made one, and love it!!
ОтветитьShort and well explained.
ОтветитьSo amazing you explain very well ❤
ОтветитьI appreciate you and your beautiful work! 🧶💜🪴
ОтветитьHow long is the long cord??? There are no measurements. It's frustrating. I don't want to guess. I'm finding all tutorials don't mention measurements.
ОтветитьI used this technique to replace a hanger on a drying rack that broke under the weight of wet clothes. (Cheap junk, but I didn't want to buy even more plastic!). Thanks for the tutorial. After I was making the knots, I realized, I used the same technique years ago to wrap my headphone cords so they wouldn't crimp or break. LOL at relearning old things. You also conjured some memories of my crafty grandmother. Thanks for the video lesson!
ОтветитьGreat job. Very helpful!
ОтветитьI love this so much!!! ❤❤ U make it look so easy and are an excellent teacher... tysm .. very excited to try this❤
ОтветитьWhat is the cord material?
ОтветитьHi, I just used this tutorial to make my FIRST EVER macrame project and I absolutely love it! I wish I could send you a photo of turned out perfect, your instructions were clear and easy to follow and like I said I have never in my life ever made anything before! Thank you so so much I'm delighted with myself!!
ОтветитьI made it!! It's so nice and easy, thank you so much!❤
ОтветитьThis was an excellent tutorial. My 15 yr old daughter and I just made it! We had only 1 hiccup. We used 5mm instead of 3mm cord and what happened was after the top swirl/twist and tie off, all the cords were not the same length. So when you said to start the next part, we were like...which ones....but thankfully my brain was functioning properly and we undid the top a bit (undid 9) until all the cords were even on the bottom and so we ended up with less than 25 in the twist. But it came out perfect after that adjustment. Love it! Thank you!💞
ОтветитьPlease can you give us the proper length of the cords next time please as I’m sure I’m not the only beginner.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this, it seems so easy by your directions.
ОтветитьVery nicely explained , I did do one it came out really good, thank you!😊
ОтветитьI am a first-time macrame-er and found your video so easy to follow. I have 4 more to hangers to make so I will be checking out your other videos for different styles. Overall it was relaxing and fun. Thank you!
Ответить🎉very well explained now I'm hooked
ОтветитьThat was nice and easy to understand thank you

ОтветитьOmg, ur video nedded a bit more details...from the beginning. . Thank god u added them on the description. . I was able to succeed making my 1st macrame planter with ur video .....thanks a bunch.😊
ОтветитьI loved watching this video. I'm looking for a craft to do with my nieces. What fun! Can the bottom be brushed out?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing.🎉
ОтветитьLiked the instructions given with the distance between each alternate knot. 👌🏼👍🏻
ОтветитьBien
ОтветитьI’ve never touched macrame before and successfully made this! Great tutorial!
ОтветитьFirst thing i have ever made! Mine is a little wonkier than yours, lol -- but I made it!!!
ОтветитьHow many cords do you start with?
ОтветитьThis video is useless. Im just supposed to guess everything am I? 👎
ОтветитьHow long was the ropes.
ОтветитьThank you! This was my first macrame attempt and it came out great!
ОтветитьI did it! I can’t believe I was able to! I used jute so it was a bit hairier… but worked out well. First project like this. Thank you for the tutorial!!
I did end up slowing down the video to .5 speed for the knots.. that helped a ton 😊
