ОтветитьI am my secondment on a temp work visa for last 4 years. Can I claim tax for the expenses I have done in UK for food and accommodation? This applicable until I become a UK employee?
ОтветитьDid you allow that not everything taken from your wages was tax but also NI contributions would have been taken from your wage and any other contributions like for example pension. You don't get a rebate on your expenses ( are you confusing tax and VAT) you only get a rebate on any tax you paid over what you should pay. Expenses are taken from profit to get your taxable income but you don't get tax back for them.
