YOUR A JOKE
ОтветитьI like the fact that he actually used the 10 point scale. He didn't just give everything an 8 or above to be nice.
ОтветитьI am a big fan of this series, I like how some of the experts speak with great confidence on their subjects but some come across as smarmy. This is the first expert I'd like to have a beer with, he has such a chill attitude, like he was a surfer in a previous life.
ОтветитьThis guy is like some surf dude who also happens to be hard as nails
ОтветитьFor some reason, I wanted to be an EOD tech now. Life threathening specialization, but worthy profession! Kudos to all EOD tech!
ОтветитьDude is so lucky he didn't trash M*A*S*H.
ОтветитьI would like to see Jay's comments on an old BBC series called, Danger UXB. It is set in World War II, long before high-tech bombs and high-tech bomb disposal. I remember the hero working with things like liquid nitrogen and being terrified. Excellent series that seemed very believable.
ОтветитьI always wondered in the Abyss why they didn't just let it detonate since it's three miles down
ОтветитьEOD is insane. Those guys are wild. Met a few, all were chill laid back and great with one liners. Imagien it takes that to be good at this.
ОтветитьI've seen some videos of these ISIS suicide vehicles, and they can have an insane visible shockwave as well
ОтветитьThis guy's confidence and knowledge is so dang attractive.
Ответитьlame movies imho
Ответитьadvanced robotic hands probably would not be practical for EOD robots but hope at least passive exoskeletons for EOD suits are devoped. Though if EOD still must be consulted during the design.
ОтветитьJoseph Gordon Levit became bomb squad?
ОтветитьJoseph Gordon-Levitt is a talented chap
ОтветитьI love your commentary. Thank you for this
ОтветитьThe main thing I hate about Hollywood is explosions. There is rarely a fireball. Grenades or claymores. No fireball. Just a dusty cloud
ОтветитьI knew someone who was deployed to Afghanistan and he told me about what they called “toe poppers” where people would place bombs under the vehicles so when the marines would get out, they would detonate
ОтветитьHere's some EOD movies that were overlooked, like;
24.
BLOWN AWAY.
BOYS FROM COMPANY C.
BROKEN ARROW.
CASTLE; COUNTDOWN.
DEMOLITION MAN.
DIE HARD 3.
EXECUTIVE DECISION.
GET SMART.
HOGAN'S HEROES; A KLINK, A BOMB, AND A SHORT FUSE.
JUGGERNAUT.
LETHAL WEAPON 2-3.
LIVE WIRE.
MACGUYVER.
MASH; THE ARMY-NAVY GAME.
NCIS; TILL DEATH DO US PART.
THE PEACEMAKERS.
REDS 2.
THE ROCK.
SEA PATROL; ONE PERFECT DAY.
SHOCK WAVE.
THE SPECIALIST.
THUNDERBALL.
THE X-FILES I WANT TO BELIEVE.
This averaged about 3.8/10.
ОтветитьSwole in the chest.... let's get you in COD please 🥺
ОтветитьEverything he said is 100% accurate!
ОтветитьPlease, please, show this man the EOD scenes in the Blacklist. There are a lot and they're all, in some way, completely absurd.
ОтветитьNothing from the film Blown Away? That film is all about a bomb disposal team.....
Ответитьamazing how rambo got it more right than most majority of them
Ответитьkinda epic this guy knows how to disarm a nuclear weapon lol
ОтветитьThis wss bullshit! I wanted to see Riggs take a tub dive!
ОтветитьI was hoping they would show The Rock movie with the rockets. Do a part 2 !
ОтветитьYeah, really, wire is wire, the color of the insulator doesn't change the properties of the wire itself -- the wire will try to carry whatever you put through it
How do you not include Blown Away?
ОтветитьThis guy f.u.c.k.s.
ОтветитьAw, I love Hurt Locker and it got a 1/10 😢
ОтветитьWhen we gonna get a train conductor check the drift scene in polar express
ОтветитьThis is probably the sexiest man alive.
ОтветитьHow can you possibly say Archer couldn’t disarm that bomb?! He was wearing his black turtleneck, that’s essentially an expert pass on all things special agent.
Archer: “First letter B”
Ray: “BRAVO!!”
Archer: “Thank you”
😂😂😂😂
I love how the only reason he gave The Hurt Locker a 1 was because of the "communication" with the others.
And that's just being generous.
Not counting this dude, EOD were some of the most annoying groups of people I have ever met. Constantly asking me if I wanted to know what they did. No. We can smell the bait of them desperately wanting us to be curious about what they do, laying out their tools and looking at us in the corner of their eyes. fkn cringe.
ОтветитьJay is 100% the real-deal and hero as an EOD expert and is a class-act including his post-military career. Loved the laughs he created and how he also protected information that we as the general public don't need to know in order to keep protecting our country and our military ... including service members like my kids.
ОтветитьThis guy is great
ОтветитьDudes a badass.
ОтветитьBatman was on preptime
ОтветитьGood video, but how about the bomb I dropped in Taco Bell at lunch? Huh?!
ОтветитьHe looks like a big buff Joseph Gordon Levitt🎉🎉🎉
Ответитьhow come there was no magruber scenes haha
ОтветитьHe made me look up the Macgruber bomb defusing scene lol
ОтветитьFast furious × bomb scence was purely Hollywood
ОтветитьI love how he found a way to rate Batman as almost perfect, made me giggle
ОтветитьThe speedy timer in Archer reminds me of some of the real old computers where the timing was based on electrical properties of the circuit, or clock speed of a processor rather than real time. Maybe that was their idea, since Archer's temporally ambiguous nature could have all sorts of janky electronics.
ОтветитьWith The Abyss...I always ignored the whole 3 miles down and still communicating thing. I focused more on "Hey...that one sub imploded from a small crack in the glass, and that thing was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay thinker than that helmet glass.....and he's just fine!" lol
ОтветитьYou should tell this professional that in SPEED scene that the bus is rigged with under 50 mph the bomb will exploded automatically. That why that bus cannot stop to defuse.
Ответить
