Splitting Steel Return Proj Is Completely Insane - Saviour Impale Thicc Champion ft. 0 Bitrate

Compared to playing your ci int stacker trickster, this feels mediocre at best. I know its very late in the league, but after getting done with your POB i personally see neither the dps nor the tankiness on this toon. Price tag at this point of the league is close to 40 divs including just the POB stuff and the end result is kinda underwhelming imho. The saviour reflection is still bugged btw, at least for me.

I did 36/40 in expedition with steel, it was sick. Nearly unkillable, 26m DPS. Never done 36/40 otherwise. Honestly I'm not sure why it's been slept in, it's been strong for a couple years now.

AI thumbnails are perfect.

IMO Beltimber Blade is a little too good of an offhand to pass up for how cheap it is. Since Far Shot calculates off the projectile's total travel time from start of movement to end of return it ends up almost always maxing out if you aren't fighting the enemy in a closet.

It does mean you're kinda pidgeonholed into using either Ashes or Replica Dragonfang's Flight, but considering Splitting Steel actually scales pretty well off of both of those and Ashes also gives you extra levels for your auras+Sniper's Mark, it's well worth it if you leaguestart it and pick one up early while they're still relatively cheap.

i have copied this build to the tee exactly. lvl 90 and so im missing my second large cluster but unless that 1 cluster tripples my damage or more idk how im gonna go from 220k average hit to 1.1m

When I saw splitting steel cascade last league I thought to myself "there's no way this isn't eating an enormous nerf next league". Well, cascade is gone but to be honest with the gem I still think the same thing. It's such a super strong interaction that it would probably taint my view on the average build if I tried it.

They need to find something for mêler skills as good as nimis seriously. I dont know what it could be.
Not only melee but all those skills that just can't compare anymore with projectile alternatives. Remember when Ice Nova was a thing for CoC builds ? Nobody will chose it over Ice spear, because projectile skills scaling way too hard.

played this the first time in crucible, had a nice high ceiling with the passive tree and vengeant cascade at the time. Hasn't fallen off in this league imo

played this build last league with Vengeant Cascade. typically you'd use Beltimber Blade alongside Saviour for the +2 proj and Farshot.

Attack speed can be higher.

When Fury Valve came out, I tested it with Shattering Steel, because if you stood at exactly the correct distance from the enemy, all of the projectiles would expire inside of the enemy, explode, and shotgun. It was exactly as viable as it sounds.

This is basically the same thing but about a billion times better.

Reminds me of Ruetoo's Spectral Helix cold conv PF, which I am going to do soon enough. But I did hear Splitting Steel is one of those skills that stacks the extra projectiles and returning projectiles mechanic insanely well.

Did this last league with VC, dual wielding a Paradoxica and a Beltimber Blade. Far Shot from the BB is a ludicrous damage multiplier, worth checking out if you're still doing anything with this character.

Wonder if you could league start this and just work with a decent phys one handed weapon (maybe dual wield) and then work your way to a saviour/nimis
