Happy Holidays from your friends at North Iowa Area Community College.

As the semester comes to an end, I want to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for your continued support of our campus community. We are able to do the work we do each day because of each and every one of you.

I would like to share with you some of the highlights of our year so far:

• Designated a Top 25 community college by the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program;
• Began construction on a new 15,202 sq. ft. multi-purpose dining facility next to our Campus View Student Housing Complex;
• Completed extensive updates in the Buettner Careers building and Murphy Technology building;
• Worked with the City of Charles City to acquire the building site of the new Charles City Career Center. Construction will begin this spring;
• Distributed over $1.8 million in scholarships to support our students.

It is through the combined efforts of our staff, faculty, alumni, community, and friends that we continue to thrive and succeed. I look forward to working with you in 2023 to embrace new opportunities and tackle new challenges.
