In 1.34, Austria allies one of the other Bavarian states every single time, even if we both rival each other. So annoying

Personally i play as Munich, one of Bavaria minor do ally and only Austria but hopefully for me Saxony(with thuring as PU), Mayence, cologne (+ I manage to PU the other Bavaria minor) help me to beat them.
Recommend if you want some "challenge" if not just restart.
P.S.: I just raise free company, wasn't out of my force limit and the 5 1% loans, do lose lot of manpowers to siege Austria but didn't take more loans or hire more mercenaries, it's way easier my situation that fighting ottomans as Byzantium in 1444.

Side comment. If you are allied to Austria, they probably will have bohemia rivaled, you can call them in for territory, and take pilsen and cheb for yourself to grab a gold mine to fuel your start.

ok watched the video lets jump in ok cant ally austria since it allies 2 nations that consider myself a rival ok can deal with that 2 won wars and and we are no longer rival since we outgrown them ah ok munich allied to hungary and igolstadt allied to austria sure. did they change something since realsing this video ive been reseting 30 ish times and not a single time did i get a run where none of the 2 had a on of Austria Hungary or bohemia as an allie

Oh man i once did Bavaria run and waited for the Austrians to pu Hungary,Bohemia and Burgundy after i got them as my pu's i pu'd Brandemburg from that moment the game was won but i decided to have fun with HRE vassal swarm is op ultimatly i decided to form HRE instead of Germany because i never formed them. What does the Cologne Secunditure (or whatever it is called) achieve? Does the elector is a subject imperial authority malus go away?

With those 12 favors with Austria, couldn't you just declare some war, calling in Austria and then declare a second war for PU over Palpatinate while they are still allied?

This no longer works btw. When I pu’d Münich and Ingolstadt I got a massive coalition. And I even did both 5 years apart

You can creat 3 trade center by mission and then create Bavaria :)

Great Guide as allways. Smally critic for the Thumbnail thougt. Stettin is Not Part of modern Germany but Sternberg (the Newmark Province Brandenburg Starts with) is Part of Modern Day Germany.

PU Burgundy Change your Capital to Den Haag use the Mission which gives you a CoT Profit!

for some reason if you play as Landshut, Munich will 80% of the time be guaranteed by Bohemia before 1445 and Ingolstadt will be allied with Austria/Hungary. Munich also starts with -2 on Hungary for an alliance, meaning they can ally them in december.
I had to restart so many times just to get a game in which the bavarian minors werent protected by big nations.

I don't know if others are having this problem but austria won't ally me even after doing all the steps and a diplo rep guy. Does anyone know how I can fix it?

A guide for Franconia would be very interesting because the Nations with franconian culture arent so strong. The Mission tree isnt very unique but I think its worth it for a video guide.
