Patternbank VS Spoonflower - best platform to sell seamless pattern designs?

Stay away from patternbank, the whole process of becoming a seller and the amount they keep from your sales is absurd.

i think Patternbanks premium designs are a terrible idea for a real artist who also does graphic design. Especially if you make a one of a kind design that you spent 2 days on, sell it for 350 bucks, you only get half that, 125 BUCKS for 2 days work, and the person who bought your design runs off to make millions off it. A professional would get atleast 20K for that kinda of job. If you are just a graphic designer and use canva and most of your art designs are open source (as in another artist made them and you just make a pattern out of it cuz its free to do so) then pattern bank is a great idea for you as you can easily make 5-10 patterns a day, making 150 bucks an hour with a very large portfolio. I do not agree with PB ToS, They are not fair to YOU the designer, so many other platforms that do better, like Etsy and Amazon and many many more. there is just no "seamless textures only" nitch. If they were smart, they would only ask for exclusive designs to sell on PB only, but would not force you to make them premium. Which they have the right to sell your design as premium to the highest bidder even if you didn't list it as premium. So hopefully a new platform with better ToS will emerge soon taking all the best designers with them who wish to be treated better! I work too damn hard on my SVG's to sell exclusively to a fashion designer for 150 bucks.

Patternbank is weird, when you sign up they say you earn 50% of all sales, i only earn 20%.

At the same time, It's hard to find any information about pattern bank in designers' communities: is it create good income or not? Is it worth investing your time? Maybe you can tell us how successful is your personal experience with pattern bank? Have you any sales through this platform?
