League is fun, just when your winning, the game or just your lane.

In this video you will watch a man who has overcome his long addiction. 2 Years later he tries it again (for some reason) and now he's addicted once again!

I'm too scared to go back, it basically ate my whole life and I haven't really played since 2017 other than a random 1 off game once a year, and honestly I don't understand any of the new stuff.

Back in the golden era, league was the thing that allowed me to connect with total strangers.

BRO!! Just open google and rite "Irelia build" and then copy paste every thing, runes/items/skills/playstyle EVERY THING!! when i start playing this game seasson 2 or 3 the game was really fun bikoz you and YOU alone was trying things and build what was for you the best build for your playstyle it was really something magical, playing new heros, trying out differend builds on your favorite heros and etc, but now its all "Copy Paste" ready to youse for every one, its no more have the discovery of play and try differend builds and runes and tacktics something that YOU are good with your playstyle, bruhhh you even got in the game store ready presets of items and runes to just pick for the hero you playing, so even the very first timer noob player can play the game, SAD REALLY SAD and lets not even start talking about all the other problems with the game, its really sad when money got in the mid and RIOT things only that, not the players not the comiunity not the "magic" that this game hat from the start, really really sad...

simply put, the game is not rewarding. mastery means nothing.

I did this, but I was gone a lot longer than 2-3 years. I was a slightly above average player I guess. I got in a game and chose an old fav. Singed without checking anything. Nobody went top, so I went top which fit anyway from what I remembered. I met an unknown humanoid character in my lane. He looked really flashy in a really dumb way. He poked me a couple times, I was maybe at 75%, then almost immediately after that he dove on me under my tower and 2-3 shot me. He had a killer damaging move to get in and a move to get out. IDK exactly, it was over very quickly. The tower did nothing to him and he 2 shot a fairly healthy bruiser maybe 2 minutes in on the lowest possible rank. I think I last hit 1 or 2 minions total. I closed the client and uninstalled.
And that to me sums up "modern" LOL. Yes, even though people have always complained, it's definitely a lot less attractive than when it was populated by Yordles and weirdoes with distinct mechanics. In short, it's become too cool for school. Juvenile killer simulator. I could apply myself and contest these players, but I simply don't want to play that kind of game.

Great video. I played League for 7 years (got to D2) and have been away from it for 4 years. Have a strong urge to get back into it.

I feel like trying this but for Master duel. Just to see if I can find any joy in yugioh anymore and keep it as a hobby to help me decompress after work. My problem was always that I was too competitive and took everything in a game way too seriously. Like "Oh they changed Jax's E? Fuuu my life is over!!" That kind of thing.

Felt the same thing after stopping playing the game after 10 years. So much has changed and, at the same time, not that much either! The core mechanics are still there but the knowledge of the fundamentals is so damn high now, I've been grinding master these past few weeks and even emerald players (Something that I didn't know existed) can have a really good macro understanding

Contrafictions : first the name removing is really terrible you cant dodge a 0 11 0 with most games ending at 15 min just because he bought his acc and went to ranked also the shier fact that they added new communication whilst refusing to add voice chat to the game which every single competitive game has is a sign that they want toxicity they do not care about the game. Well I never quit league longer than half a year to a year, and never because I wanted to quit for good, I love this game and I think im one of the rare people who actually enjoys it, even the worst games have some fun moments.

Dude your videos used to be the highlight to week. I’ve learned how to get out of bronze because of you. I don’t enjoy league near as much as I did back in 2012. But man I love you as a creator. So glad we growled up together
