This MMO Blew My Mind! Wayfinder: First Time Playing

so... this is being billed on steam as an "MMORPG" where everyone plays one of 3 pre-made characters. right, i'm out.

Been playing for 3 weeks now not had any server issues EU. Game works great. ONLY PROBLEM Im having now is the Reaver King is a pain to Solo!

Too bad you gotta buy everything in this game, and the prices are crazy.. also feels like there's no world.. it's just dungeons and portals.. I think this game has a lot of improvement to look forward to. This is an MMO right? It looks like a single player with some co-op functions.

it is not a game you should try. The try would cost you money and we all should know by now that "Early Access" is a synonym for "Scam" specialy when the Early Access costs you money!!!! DO NOT BUY IN TO SCAMMS!!!

I wish this game in the studio well, and I hope they succeed but I personally didn’t enjoy the game for longer than a few hours during testing. I will come back to this and check it out a few months after release.. but I think we have a swing and a miss here

Looks like a 2012 steam anime MMO

this game is very rough around the edges but definitely has potential. i almost quit playing after a couple hours but kept going and once i got pretty deep in i was enjoying it a good bit. it still needs a fuckton of work but if they don't abandon it, and they add some aspirational goals other than just unlocking new characters and weapons, it can be good.

Why are there ques for a single player game

Good game, great flow on abilities but lack of character customization and combat starts to get boring after a while.

As someone with an honours degree in psychology and a background in evolutionary biology and anthropology.. Yes. Of course marketing as a concept is predatory.

Of course video games are predatory. What do you mean lol. Blizzard and Microsoft literally have paid psychologists who they pay to learn how to manipulate their players as effectively as possible.

I still love video games but pretending it's all sunshine and rainbows is silly

The graphics and gameplay looks amazing, graphics remind me of overwatch which is great cause it doesn't age.

Got it the other day and regretted it, at first... Got back into it a couple days later and I'm hooked. The fact that there are just established characters and no character creation is a hard sell like you said, but I was shocked when I discovered you're not weapon restricted by your chosen character. Plus, the outfit colorization is sick. I hope there's more colors soon. I'm Wingrave as well, and right now, I have black armor with the trim being blood red, and the illuminated parts are pink. I'm using a 2 handed weapon. This is reminding me of Darksiders, graphically and sorta gameplay wise. The more I play it, the more I like it.

i played the beta, it didnt grab me bc it was kinda buggy for me. maybe ill giv it another shot.

I really like the town. The design, the theme, the visuals are all good. If they can add all the stuff they claim to be adding, it'll be a really good game. I'd love to see what they're going to do with raids. Supposedly it's more than a 3 person thing, hopefully 6 or so players. It'll be interesting when there isn't a "holy trinity".

Hopefully the zones are all as big as the current one as well. I think they also need to add more interesting things in the open world, stuff to do other than questing. Some jumping puzzles, things to find, etc. Something for me to WANT to run around and look at the zone.

Okay whatever you do NEVER look at your health bar... great way to play a tank... I mean I have seen you play MMOs before, so is your brain just off? Did you skip the weapon shop intentionally, or seriously just no brain the game you're testing?

All I can say what does not look best is the camera movement with mouse that it's not fluent as you have high dpi

Great video, sure loved the part where you heard about Gloom and talked to NPC for the Gloom quest and got your Gloomdagger.. and supposedly there's a Skylight and I heard the word Breach and they said to fight the Gloom in the Lost Zone, then that Omen lady said the word Codex and Shattering... and mentioned that Gloomdagger you get for going to the Gloomgate you earn Gloomfragments for the GloomBeacon and...so incredible and deep so far..

Omen = OW2 Sonjurn = Cherise Boothe. OW2 Ash voice acress Jennifer Hale & Raj Koothrappali's Dad Brian George are also in there somewhere among others.

Also, Baldurs Gate 3 comes out, and asmon is like... yea Wayfinder is the move. THis game is shit atm lmfao

this game doesnt look like it has any ability impact from anything, literally just feels like you run around run into stuff then it dies. lack of emphasis keeps the combat EXTREMELY DULL

Kinda bummed that they went with some sort of generic hero system rather than a character creation. Just gonna have the same 4 people running around everywhere :/

They really missed the opportunity to add "Fruit of the Gloom" in the breaches.
