THE BEST 6.5 Car Speakers for Bass 6.5 Component Car Stereo Speakers for EXTREME Bass

Hey Mike! Thanks for your input advice and testing of all these speakers. Got myself some 6.5 Pioneer TS-M650 Pros with some Skar VX35-ST Tweeters. My God, the difference! Of course the factor oem paper mache speakers were the WORST i've ever encountered. The oem magnet itself was literally the size of a RING FINGER on the 6x9s (FJ CRUISER)! I am not kidding! Anyways this is a massive step up that compliments my two 12" Kicker CompVRs on an Mono Block Class D Kenwood Excelon XR-1001.

Hey Mike, I bought a 7 years of E200 about 6 months ago, and the speakers sound broken recently. Please recommend the set (front and back) of speakers are good/mid range replacement with about $200-$300 all in.

Can you put a 6.5 speaker in a ported box? Obviously they don't give good bass in your door but is it possible do make a decent ported box?? I'm going to make one I'm just not sure what specs I'll use. 🤔

The Infinity kappa perfect 600m are the best components for the money. I have tried rockford T2 and JL audio C2 and the kappa perfects blow them all away.
They are rated at 100rms. I ran a rockford T-600 (100x4ems) and it wasn’t enough. I ended up running them with Rockford T-100-4 and they scream! They love power! I also am running the kappa perfect 600M midranges and tweeters

Infinity kappa same as JBL gto 600C.but JBL tweeter are too strong.need proper tunning.

Ok so i just had the kappas put in my gfs ford flex. They put a 360w amp to them and they sound straight flat like the bass is straight missing almost completely.should i but a bigger amp to them? I see i can run them to 110w rms and this amp is 65w rms. Are they underpowered?

Sorry i'm late to the party. lol.. i have a 2008 Mercedes sl and the doors had a 6.5 and a 3.75 all wired in that fiber optic stuff . Pulled it all out and put in a pair of Kenwood xr1701 6.5's in and a pair of ts a 879 3.75 speakers in and its sounds really good

Infinity has to be one of the best sounding speakers that I have ever heard. Infinity produces the absolute best ,deep, clean lows. And highs as well. I'd like to emphasize how great the sound quality is when it comes to the lows. I had a pair of 12 inch Infinity subs in my D21 Hardbody truck, let me tell you, they were some of the best subs that I've had to date. And this was back in the mid 2000's Prior to that was my Hifonics in a bandpass box in my 67 mustang coupe.

I currently have the alpine type S in 2 of my vehicles. One set on Kenwood excelon amp at 125watts, another on excelon 105watts, an. They do sound great. Vivid and natural but i cant get any kind of bass out of them in any of the vehicles. Gains and crossovers tuned with SMD equipment. Even with crossovers off. No bass. 😅

My 2004 VW Passat Wagon has already been factory sound deadened. Even the stock Non-Monsoon system, the mids in front & rear components sounded like 8's.
I now currently want 2 upgrade both component sets even tho they still are all rocking well with my Orion XTR750.4. To compliment those with bass. I have a CT-SOUNDS 1000.1D amp. I have been considering getting the NVX components that have a 2ohm resistance as I can utilize the average RMS from the birth sheet, which is 209 watts rms @2ohms pwrd by 13.3v i believe. I, however, am pushing 14.3v. In case any1 is curious as to head unit. Run all RCA 6 volt preouts with a Maxpeedingrods Double Din 7" Android head unit. I love it! Great setup. Currently, for bass running, @1ohm is two 4ohm Black Diamond Audio 12s. DIA-R12D4's. I do have plans to upgrade those down the road, but the focus is on SQL, so the component upgrade from stock takes priority. So far, I am very pleased with an average of 2,000 watts RMS.

OK, so sound is a question of taste. But you can not have heard any of the high end European brands, since not in this list. There are so many much better midwoofers than you have mentioned.

When a tweeter is rated at a higher FS than 20k, it's because it's material composition allows for that level of reproduction and it also adds more flexibility to control the bandwidth at that range. Most tweeters that are rated at 20khz, roll off at a generous 14k so if you can hear up to 18 or 19, that tweeter will have a bad time.

I love music and I'm trying to upgrade my sound system on my ford f150 for a clean and quality sound system I've been doing a research for over a month now on speakers and stuff, I think I've watched every single video of yours about comparison and reviews and I'm still having a really hard time to decide what speakers to get for a complete round up in my truck, I do everything my self I've done all the mods on my truck my self with passion and I love it, but I really need your help Mike please what do you recommend for me, I'm trying to keep the price reasonable since it's really hard to make money and I don't want to be disappointed again with my choices, I've just ordered a recoil class D 4ch amp 2ohm-4ohm stable with 300rms at 2ohm x 4 and 210 rms at 4ohm x4 noise ratio 85db and frequency 15hz - 25khz and trying to find the best affordable speakers that would complete my set up. I'm going to do a sound deadinng on all doors as well, I recently bout a Polk Audio amp(wich I'm returning tomorrow due to overheating) to replace it with the recoil amp above👆 Currently the Polk Audio is running my jbl GTO939 6x9 Coaxial 100w rms 300w peak on the front and the jbl GTO629 6.5 2way Coaxial 60w rms 180w peak on the rear, also a different amp for my 2x12" mtx subs, Im using aftermarket android tesla style head unit. I added a line out converter lci7 then connect the 2 amps, but I feel a little incomplete, I bought the gbl gto tweeters you recommended in one video aslo bought the BZRK tweeters because they look nice as well, haven't installed them yet because the ohm doesn't add up, can you please recommend me something to complete a good sound, I'm thinking to go with 2 way component speakers and trying to decide for a good midrange speakers for rear since I have the tweeters, I'm even willing to add 2 more 5 inch speakers and modify the rear doors if necessary!
