Which platforms do you use to promote your work?
ОтветитьFlickr sucks. I was a paying member, started uploading back in the days it was still owned by yahoo. Suddenly one day last year, my account including 20-30.000 photo's was deleted without warning. Emailed them and all they would say was that I "violated their terms" and was not allowed to have an account ever. Still haven't got a clue what went wrong. Didn't show any nudity except some topless pics from a bodypainting festival from 2006. These were all marked restricted and online for years. Pity, when it was owned by yahoo I really liked it. Spent a lot of time there, but it all went down when smugmug bought it.
Ответитьlooked at Flickr pics. Saw the best. A site where people show their calendar pictures. Unfortunately, no more calendars being printed.
ОтветитьI use Flickr as a photo community (groups, camera info with image examples, etc ). Sadly, it no longer has the popularity it once did ( I've been on it since 2008) 😓 . Ironically, it's what photographers today are looking for but it quickly gets dismissed. Maybe because it's been around for a while?🤔
ОтветитьHi Neil, just have a quick question for you. If I was to edit a photograph in say Photoshop and save it as a new image, will the meta-data from the original photo still show up in the newly edited photo, or in order for Flickr to recognise that data, you must only upload an original unedited image? Thanks.
ОтветитьI’ve been using Flickr since I started my photographic journey about 6 years ago .. I love it for storage purposes and have posed in various groups for feed back ..
ОтветитьVery interesting veggie, does sound like the best platform to start showing off your images.
ОтветитьIs there advertising on it?
