New UI for Android Studio

I like so much that u decide to drop all my font and color settings when applying new theme, thanks you so much!
Edit: Likely i expect this and had a backup..
u should at least show confirmation dialog to "apply new settings" since i expected to see "whats new" guide when i clicked on it and not "undeniable applying the stuff" without confirmation

are we forced to use the new ui just to get new backend updates? I don't have time to learn new ui right now.

Pretty sure all these curiously similarly worded positive replies are from Google employees, or generated. Seems like an unnecessary change; busywork to put on someone's performance review goals, like many of the AS changes in recent years. We'd rather you fixed difficult to resolve and long-lived bugs, than easy-to-implement but effectively useless re-skins.

Android studio is really buggy lately, every update brings with it new bugs, Android team if you are reading, please work on it
Being said that, New UI looks good

I think you can find a better solution to gradle operations, there could be up-to-date libraries for this, some dependencies are still not even shared in android resources, you should improve in this regard.

The new ui is nice, it needs to get used to it, I have been using it for a while, but it is not optimised, the old ui was more stable and faster, I hope it will improve over time.

The new UI looks beautiful! There's a bug with custom items icons in the new toolbar but I'm waiting for the next patch! 😊

I've been trying out the new UI for a while now, and I've absolutely been loving it!

Ui design file was very hard to find in the studio

Espero que tenha mudado mesmo porque o sitema de UI do android era um lixo , eu gosto de liberdade e o sisema de ui do windows forms da essa liberdade , agora esse negocio de XML , é muito ridiculo , esses pontilhados , voc~e ter que escrever em xml pra poder ter o desing coisa tosca tanto no android tanto UWP da ms , prefiro que as UI sejam livres e de facil manipulação , que não precise a pessoa fica colocando tipos de Layots pra consegui configurar os UI , isso é muito ruim quem disse pra você que xml é bom ? UI tem que ser com manipulação livre sem frescura e so isso , puxo pra dentro do app moveu pra onde você quiser sem linhas de coordenada determinando onde você tem que coloca seu botão , sua imagem , seus menus , isso é tosco , isso é o programando mandando no programador dizendo quero seu botão nessa parte se não vou grita erros , no windows forms da microsoft não tem isso , você coloca o botão onde você quiser , a manipulação do botão por linguagens igual xml , xaml , hmtl e etc tem que ser livre de escolha , porque eu prefiro manipular botão no proprio script de codigo java no android studio .
Outra coisa é os icones fui coloca o meu e somente no meu aplicativo que o icnone aparece na tela, no celular do meu irmão e em teste no blueStack o icnone aparece aquele verde , icone padrão do android studio , tem um video no meu canal , ja substitui os icones mas não adianta .

why icons in main toolbar right are all white, whilte in settings they have colour accents? It is easier to identify the icon if it's in different color.

i love the new UI

New UI looks cleaner now but it feels like more complex to use so I prefer the old one itself.

In the new giraffe the log cat is horrible, any recommended video to understand the logcat better

The new UI is just really bad.
This is what happens when you let designers mess with a professional development tool.

Little known fact: old ui can be uncluttered as much as you want, up to just the editor being visible. Then use keyboard shortcuts to access everything else when you need it
