Gaelic and Welsh are different languages. Welsh is not Gaelic.
ОтветитьIreland is not a British Isle/Island. This is an outdated Imperialistic and Possesive term that is not recognised by the Irish Government nor by the Majority of Irish people living in Ireland.
ОтветитьCiao Malpighi Renzi, cosa guardi il mio commento? Concentrati con il video.
ОтветитьGreat video however Welsh is not a Gaelic language. A better term for these languages as a whole would be ‘Insular Celtic’ or just British languages. One other thing 😁 Jersey and Guernsey are not a part of the British Isles. They are a part of a political group called the British (UK) islands. And the Isle of Mann is not a part of England. This is ALL positive criticism. I REALLY enjoyed your video.

ОтветитьThe term "British Isles " is deeply Insulting to Irish people. It arrogantly ignores centuries of colonialism, occupation, attempted genocide, cultural repression, enforced poverty and the long and agonising struggle of the Irish people for independence. This struggle is incomplete with 6 northern counties still under occupation. The Irish state, through our embassy in London, tries to educate British people / media but is often ignored. Hard to break ingrained racism.

ОтветитьPeople from Manchester and Leeds would be offended if you said they were in the midlands. Birmingham, Nottingham and Leicester are your main midland cities.
