depressing but beautiful

I discovered this in summer 2022, during one of the worst and deciding times of my life. I used to lie in bed, feeling hopeless and resigned in my cramped room and just listen to this as I daydreamed of better days... Better days came, and here I am, still listening to this almost every day while I work, feeling strangely nostalgic to that awful summer in 2022. Again, thank you for this. It would be nice to have this on Spotify so I could listen to it while I walk.

This video took me to a future time long forgotten. It reminded me of a forbidden love so true, so real, it echos in this place for eternity.

This is the epitome of beauty. To some this is just an abandoned greenhouse but there is something so beautiful about this video, and the music to accompany the video is perfect. How can something so beautiful evoke so much sadness. The imagery gives me a sense of what would be left behind if the human race died out. Everything would slowly wither away in its own time, all the remnants of a world that once existed. This statue looks so sad and lonely ❤

This Greenhouse had been a neighborhood staple longer than most people here can remember. Everyone says it was built by an older couple who moved here two generations ago. They had chosen this place for its...

Well, I can't remember the reason why. It's a little hazy. Anyway, The couple who lived there were open to anyone they met. Both were entertained by almost anything and could share a story on virtually any topic you could imagine. Everyone liked them. They were a neighborhood treasure. They put up the Greenhouse about seven years after they moved. The lady spent a lot of time planting, watering, pruning, and decorating. She changed the plants with every season. Or tried to.


They had a large circle of friends from all over the neighborhood and were invited to almost every family gathering, holiday party, and town meeting you could imagine. They were genuine, forthcoming, trustworthy, and oh-so-loved.

In later years, they weren't as active. Old age and all that. Nevertheless, people came by often to check in on them. They came out whenever they could join in on whatever everyone else was doing. They were welcomed every time.

When they finally passed away a few years later, most of the town came out to mourn. They were so well-known and cherished that everyone felt they lost a part of their soul.

They gave them the most moving funeral the town had ever seen.

Today the Greenhouse sits abandoned. The plants were brown and dead, glass shattered, and old books and other effects were left lying untouched since they passed. It's a tragic sight.

I'm standing inside it right now, looking at all the rust and rot that has taken over. This place was beautiful once and held so many memories. The house where they had lived had been torn down ages ago to make way for new development. They tried to save it but couldn't raise enough money in time.

Those days were the town's golden years. Now... Well... read the news to see what this place has become.

Seeing what the town is like now would have broken their poor hearts. I would've liked to meet them.

At least we still have this Greenhouse to remind us of what those days were like. Sometimes if you close your eyes and listen to the wind, they say you can still hear them laughing and see them smiling under the autumn sun.

The imagery for this is so interesting. I feel like I should be looking for clues to unlock something, like I’m solving a puzzle/mystery. Maybe there’s a torn piece of a photograph in the drawers. The book on the table is perhaps left open to a specific page with a hint on it. The paper in the birdcage is a mysterious letter from someone. There might be an old key hidden around the statue somewhere.

This is by far my most favorite one you have made!
