Bad advice from the get-go, i started at night, after i found some things it started raining so i got ill and manged to survive whole day; even tho i dont know what im doing; ive managed to learn how to cook, how to dry my clothing, how to eat with illness etc. Its worth going through it, so what if you die in this first 10hours of gameplay i pressed F11 multiple times and each character had story and added to my experience. My advice is to go on and play whatever happens happens if nothing else youll get some map knowledge and whats worth looting and what not like sheds are better 100% than any house on map, at least in my short period of playing.

The mushroom thing you mentioned saved me today. I was with someone I just met today and we were heading from one village to a bigger village, cutting through a forest. Well he had no health left and could barely walk so I ended his suffering so he could respawn and hopefully make it to the village I was headed to. My health was critical too because of hunger and just as I was thinking to suicide I found a mushroom. It raised my hunger and put my health back to yellow, basically filling it to half which was unexpected.

A big tip for people who hate fighting zombies is just run in a house and kill them through a window. It's what i do allot. I'll fire a shot to attract allot of them and just take my time hitting them while they can't touch me.😂

I've played Rust from back in the most toxic days. So if I can learn that game I can learn in the game. I just own this game for three years in the morning to play the whole time and just can't get a start.

I've played for a couple of days now, trying to figure out how to play and I am at a point where I'm dying more from infections than anything else. So this will be helpful! I'm also frustrated how easy it is to make a fire drill when you know how to do it...I've been running around like a madman trying to find those damn matches, thanks again!

So what is the fun part? Seems tedious and boring. The crafting is the worst I have ever seen. Throw it on the ground??? can't just do it from you pack or menu? Who does that? Just seems like lazy developers. Grapics are a joke, I think this will be the first game I request a refund for.

Im trying to like the game, but the server I was asked to join seems to be a hardcore server and the people knew I had never played before. On top of that the block mechanic is trash on this game lol. The Revival server for Deer Isle is devoyed of food and supplies. Just not my thing I guess. I still havent stayed alive or made it to the safe zone lol.

this is an incredibly hard game! and very time consuming. I've died probably 100 times already and starting to watch videos on it. I'm obviously doing it wrong. but got ambition.. so I'll keep trying. finally able to fight zombies.. but not 3!

These tips sound great. I just tried playing, I got hurt by zombies, ran away, and kept blacking out. I tried to use a bandage multiple times. I kept passing out.

Get yourself a alarm clock and live out 24 hours in game time and write down the actual time while you start till time is up the math is the easy part.

Hello, I did exactly what you said but the problem is my server does not appear in the list of servers in the LAN tab. I have a message saying: unable to retrieve LAN servers. please check your internet connection. Does anyone have a solution. I have no problem with my connection.

Good tip while searching a neighborhood is to walk around the trees and pickup fruit to eat. Just started playing and this made a huge difference.
