So I just watched Houston's latest video on flexed vs non-flexed taking of hits from various things, and interestingly enough, most of the time, it hurt more when he wasn't flexing his muscles. You've said it was actually worse when he flexed his muscles during all those paintball hits. My question is, even though he says it hurts more with un-flexed muscles being hit, will that cause less permanent damage from the muscles being loose at the time of pain, even though the pain might feel worse at the time of injury?

To add more information to lasers: you do NOT need to have a laser pointed directly into your eyes to cause irreparable eye damage! Certain lasers are done cheaply and use near IR lasers and a crystal to produce a specific color. Those wavelengths of light are blocked by certain laser goggles, but since near IR is not visible to our eyes, you won’t necessarily know the strength of it and your laser goggles may not be able to block the near IR wavelength of light. Also, lasers that are in the visible light spectrum are powerful enough to damage your eyes from just you looking at the spot on the wall! When I was shot through the foot with a 9mm hollow point I thought they would sew it up. But nope compression badage and was home in a few hours. Got a walking boot a few days later, then had surgery to try and remove some of the bone fragments and bullet fragments. Whats interesting is I didn't even realize I was shot for about 35 minutes because of all the adrenaline. I thought I had step on a nail upon entry. Then walking back to my cruiser someone pointed out my blood trail. Thats when I noticed the hole in my boot and exit hole out the bottom. That's when the pain started. We even found the jacket from it. Not fun.
