Call of Duty's Anti Cheat Is FAILING In Warzone

Ricochet is a scam. Ive got 20 plus notification saying my report was successfully in the past mouth. All days if not weeks after ive reported. If they need 2,3 business days to ban a cheater then there is no anti cheat.

I'm on console and controller and the cheating imo has gotten way way way out of control, i mean back in the warzone 1 and 2 days cheating did exist but you would see it what ? 1 2 maximum 3 times a week if you played the average hours or 2 3 hours a night, in warzone 3 i'm reporting cheating at least 2 or 3 times a day, it 's got to the point where i've given up now and have uninstalled and i'm never going back, i'm so sick of this shadow over the game i just cannot enjoy it while this dark cloud is constantly looming over it so this is the end for me

It's not just a warzone problem it's in every aspect of the game including North American servers. In multi-player I just leave the games, especially if it puts me in a game that has already been going. Sorry but I'm not playing games where the team is already getting destroyed. Everyone else should do the same. COD is dying and I will not be buying another game from them unless they completely turn the game around.

Also I think COD is in bed with the cheat companies getting kick backs. The won a lawsuit against EO and then after the lawsuit towards the end of mw2 life cycle they released their cheats. So if they lost the lawsuit why are they still selling cheats?

Statistical automation wouldn't work on COD, they would produce too many false positives, if I want a 100% accuracy or headshot rate I can just not shoot when I'm not sure and trigger the Anti-cheat. The new way of detecting people is by detecting what injects and what access the game's memory and with the advancements we have today (DMA, kernel-based cheats...) it's near impossible to detect then

Just want to point on the psychological editing going on here. You start a video about cheating in WZ with a Known exposed cheater to make it seem like oh he must be legit because we are using him to show how hes gettting hacked on! TheTacticalCunt more like it.

I am in NA and I often play with my friend in Korea. and unfortunately often times it will put us in Chinese server and it's horrendous. the entire server is basically who can use cheats better. Comm is disabled and chat is disabled. Activision fully aware of what's going on in that region but they aren't gonna do anything about it as long as they can put those Chinese players on their number crunch to look good on the financial sheet.

Simply not true about MnK vs controller on console. All 4 of us play controller in the U.S. we have cheaters in out lobbies 9/10 games. Its insane the amount of cheaters we have and only I have over a 1 kd between us 4. Iv VPN'D to many other countries trying to get away from cheaters but they follow. 1 match good using vpn then cheaters after that.

If you cheat they will white list you because of your subs. Easy wasd program with scripts + lots of subs = insta white list

I feel like stat banning performances beyond human performance is a smarter idea than giving a game company full access to every secret and password your computer has.

I'm an average KD player in TX, and I've had 3-4 100% cheaters (all were booted mid-game after I died) in the past month. I am PC w/ controller and only play solos. That said, my suggestion would be for the game to cost $75 for PC (along with IP/hardware ban if caught) and be free on console. That to me is the fix. It would instantly address the hackers because they sure as heck aren't risking $75.

PVP mode is pointless if it has cheaters. The only thing you can do is not play it. And if enough people stop playing, the developers maybe will finally do something about it.

Lets be real and honest here. In China, CoD is disallowed. Players and cheaters find ways around that as long both the law maker, and the provider of the game don't governe this.

China is simply not policing their own law enough, and dont get me wrong, I understand that. It's also kinda hard to governe in the first place because of the VPNs though, I have no knowledge of the big firewall, there might be ways to detect but anyway, I degres. What I dont understand is why they made this law in the first place. Not having this law would solve the issue for a big part because china can have their own servers. And profit of the income taxes if they they demand these AV servers are hosted in soeverein datacenters.

Also, the real wolves here are again, Activision. Why? They allow these players to play the game from a country that disallows the game... for pure profit. Think about it. They have Riccochet and other software installed like the launcher and gsme itself. And this sits on China localized PC'S. As you said, Riccochet is kernel level and still quite rich in the information it can gather. For example other information about a PC, such as language, and localization, and payment info from the store might be gatherd through the game or launcher. These things on their own should never be enough to block players, but they can be correlated, togheter with possible vpn provider connections, login hours etc.

I dont have to repeat the reason why AV just doesn't do this. As long as they can make a buck, there is no problem.

And they are not going to invest money in measures that make them loose money. That's the sad, but also kinda understandable truth. I dont agree with their approach though.

Btw this issue has been going in higher and lower degrees since almost a year. DMZ was infested in MW2

Love it! I also run in too a whole lot of cheaters when I play with my friends on pc. So I feel that they can take the crossplay and put it where the sun dont shine..

Warzone hacks have been a problem since the 1st one! I stopped playing after Cold War integration because not only was the game becoming stale & repetitive, but hackers have only become more frequent.

On that note you also have the fact streamers are using cheats in broad daylight on their streams and people think they’re just “good”. 😂

Everyone has become so desensitized to it all everyone has forgotten what actual skill looks like in COD.

Ring 0 does nothing. You can get valorent cheats no problem. And even if it would work, DMA will become the next type. AI fingerprinting gameplay is the only way.

Well if some Streamers are getting a free pass what example is that

no kernel 0 anti cheat because too intrusive. This is why I will never play valorant and I am no cheater either. instead I think a division should take a serious look into the gameplay of people being reported for cheating. This would require more people at activision to enforce this maybe but with automation not that many though

Just so you know Anticheats will always have a failure rate. Get smart Holmes. Software devs of anti cheat chase Target hacksDevs while the Hack devs constantly update and change how they do it


I promise Richo is working, you just don't understand how many free indy devs are developing Hacks. You also have to understand how all platforms work. PC is the underdog here kinda of. Consoles though "DAYM"! Now PC can still do what consoles do longer, but only stupid rich gamers will use these and random everyday people.

How do people move from EU servers to Americas like in stream? Are we talking VPNS?

Even on console they are cheating massive people downloading scripts online put them on their cronus and plug their cronus into their playstation 5 even crossplay disabled they ruin all lobbys and take win afther win in battle royale hopefully soon they come with a decent anti cheat for me now cod anymore until these is solved ridiculous

It's horrendous. Every game is just a wall hacking aimbotting beam-fest. It makes for a miserable experience.

The Chinese cheat teams are a big problem ,luckily us console players can switch off cross play which helps with the cheaters in general those that use laptops etc …you’re correct the time of when they are on is defo around mid day to about 5pmish going on at about 4am gmt drops the odds for this problem as well….the only option which should be implemented should be your servers cannot be linked to those in china or Korea or any other country notoriously known for cheaters so if you’re in a euro country then if a vpn is detected then it just doesn’t connect it disconnects automatically unless your playing in the country that the server is for and the vpn is disconnected from use ….

Why not just stay on your UK servers and play on PS5 and turn cross play off?

if you notice the tick rate is only 20hz because the anti-cheat is heavily reliant on it. with 20hz tick rate it can be manipulated to nerf players on the go. this is the reason why COD doesn't want to let ppl in on their secret. patents don't cover everything it's like opening a door and another door exists behind that one. if playing with cheaters they manipulate the servers with vpn and then use their cheats to cover their behind. since they use aimbot and wallhacks... aimbot registration registers all hits regardless of any tick rate as it's a script and bypasses all measures. COD devs and Activision screwed everyone and made sure ppl just payed them off for a DLC that practically killed this game. Cheaters everyday and even bot lobbies with no real player on another end where every match is literally against you at this point with mismatching sbmm.

I literally never run into cheaters. Ive never felt that we lost out to cheaters. Then again most are closet cheaters

If the game is not for eSports then there is no harm in splitting the player base into premium paid and free players.
Give premium players full customisation who they play against.
People who want fair and fun game don't care about global rankings.

Ricochet never worked. It was basically a report system. Cod has never cares about cheaters. My golden rule is this... if they play on pc and stream, they're cheating.

I'm on K & M and 3.7 K/D. I'm a competitive player for sure. I stopped playing this garbage a week after launch. The God awful atrocious audio was enough reason for me to quit. Had enough of people full sprinting behind me with ZERO audio cues. Best decision I could've possibly made to safeguard my mental health. Blizzard/Activision can suck a big dick.
