“The Spanish love deception is very go girl give us nothing”
ОтветитьNgl Jake is the only zoomer who loves Harry Potter
ОтветитьYou had me dying laughing! Thank you for your breakdown. It’s quite refreshing. Especially when you read a book you hear about on “all the Tubes” 😂 just to be let down.
Ответить101? I think I've watched that many today
ОтветитьVERY happy to hear how much you enjoyed Project Hail Mary as it’s my favorite book of all time!
ОтветитьOkay I lov hearing you talk about books but I have to sy that baby blue sweater lookd sublime on you.
Ответитьlove your video
ОтветитьJack, your voice reminds me of my of my old math tutor and it‘s so comforting! 🥰
ОтветитьTaylor Jenkins Reid is a Zionist
ОтветитьPeople, please listen to the Podcast the anthropocene reviewed, forget the book, when you hear John Greene read his essays, it's phenomenal
Ответитьboston
ОтветитьI agree with this opinion of It Ends With Us! I thought it was really impactful which I feel booktok would drag me for…
ОтветитьEveryone is talking about Ryle, which I wholly agree, but is no one talking about “Dear Ellen?” That threw me off so bad like -
I came to read a romance that made me feel happy
the way this man speaks makes it sooooooo entertaining
Ответить“She’s the Harry Potter. She’s the Alex Russo.” Made me need to read this book immediately
Ответить'If that red is not Taylor's Version, we're not interested.'
Ответить🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьsome spoilers are there
ОтветитьI agree on "People we meet on Vacation". I was so disappointed as the title didn't match at all! And I really didn't like the characters. :D
ОтветитьZayn malik moment 😭😭😭 sobbing
ОтветитьThe fact that 3 of TJR books were recommended shows that she is THE icon. I always have "Malibu rising" off my bookshelf sitting next to me just because its the best book I've ever read. And I have some sort of attachment issues to the book lol.
ОтветитьYou should really read the Invisible Life Of Addie Larue. It's captivating and a page turner.
ОтветитьI have an audible of John greens book and it’s so soothing
Ответитьi was genuinely expecting it be sarcasm and then turn it to colleen hoover slander
ОтветитьYou should read The Martian by Andy Weir too. It's even more technical but also even funnier than Project Hail Mary 😊 These two are both among my all time favorites because it combines HARD sci fi with a lot of humor and heart which is bascially unique in the genre. I can't wait for his next book.
ОтветитьThe it ends with us explanation had me giggling 😭😭 change your clothes you dutty pig
ОтветитьOther than ,,It ends whit Us" that is a potential domestic abuse study pretending to be a romance story the other books on this list are absolute bangers!
For me 5/5 across the board.
So many harry potter references with this guy, wow i love it
ОтветитьWho can't like a man who can break down several literary novels in 18 minutes while making references to 15 year old Pitbull songs?
ОтветитьI adored "Project Hail Mary", and his previous "The Martian." But, I didn't like "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" at all. It was just too stupid. I couldn't finish the other books in the trilogy.
Ответить"I have more chemistry with my coco pops" that got me lol
ОтветитьIf hail Mary is dark humor, than wait for the rest of sci fi😂😂😂 you are a sweet summer child
ОтветитьI saw you had Project Hail Mary on a Squarespace ad and I had to know if you liked it. Good god and all the jazz hands. Top book I read last year!
Ответитьbrrruhhh collen hoover is sooooo freakig good brooo
ОтветитьWait, why's his it ends with us that thick?
ОтветитьYou know a bunch of English majors watch his videos bc each comment is soooo long 😂
Me: Hope he reads The Martian
"And if that RED is not Taylor's Version, we're not interested". I paused and wrote this comment. 😂❤
ОтветитьIt's somewhat funny how Jack always says he doesn't like sci-fi but actually loves sooo many sci-fi books. I mean he's also said he gravitates towards dystopias which is a sub-genre of science fiction. XD
ОтветитьI love rewatching Jack’s videos! Slay (:
ОтветитьSounds like shallow books…… harlequin “magic dust”……
ОтветитьI don't think "It Ends With Us" accurately portrays the subtleties of domestic abuse(the slow isolation from one's social circle, the control and shaming over garments and cosmetics, the twisting the truth, the highs in the relationship, the beginning charisma and gentleness, etc), nor does it treat the topic with the delicacy it deserves. At certain times, the abuse only appears to be a plot device and twist utilized in order to bring Atlas and Lily Bloom together. Not to mention, both Ryle and Atlas both display signs of possessiveness over Lily(both of them attempting to dictate her movements or actions several times in the story). Atlas himself is a very repulsive character because him and Lily met and developed a romantic relationship when they were, respectively, 18 and 15. There's such a maturity and experience difference that makes it hard to believe he isn't attracted to her "purity" and inexperience.
I also just wish that the co-parenting was explored more because Ryle is such a volatile and explosive person. Is Lily not afraid he would hurt their daughter during one of his bursts of anger? How can it simply be a happy ending like that?
I am Bangladeshi
Ответитьhonestly even if colleen hoovers books werent just massive red flags, i dont think i could take "lily blossom bloom" seriously. that honestly sounds like something i wouldve come up with for an oc when I was 12.
ОтветитьI came here for a book recommendation, now I want to know about the vacuum he used at the beginning!
ОтветитьBesides the cringe stuff, I've never read any Colleen Hoover book before It Ends With Us so I just thought Ryle was supposed to be a walking red flag. From literally the first scene with the chair he already sucked. After watching reviews of people who have read her before, I think Colleen actually meant for him to be all great and then he suddenly became abusive. The book became way worse to me when I realized that...
ОтветитьI absolutely loved your review of It Ends With Us and your humour. I agree, Ryle riled me up too.
Ответить“I’ve had more chemistry with my coco puffs” Why’s this guy so funny? Lol
ОтветитьThe Anthropocene reviewed is also so much better on audiobook, having John green tell you it’s going to be ok is so tender
ОтветитьWow. Of those twenty I have only read three and heard of five. I feel... diminished somehow
Ответить
