Damn, didn't realize that I've been playing for so long. I remember getting the game because of Xiao's character trailer (I never got him lol)

I joined in 4.1 and am so so sad that i missed unrequinciled stars and the susbedo event! But at least i came when sumero was out, my favorite nation home to many of my favs(tighnari,nahida,dottore if he counts... And ofc, the one i simp for the most, wanderer (yes i admit it im such a wanderer simp...) And the first golden apple archipelago too. Oh, and i effing hate yae miko so much. Embrace the anger at that if you care about me hating her

3.0 was the best purely because of how amazing the sumeru story was

My favorite patch is 3.6 because it was a really good event and my first one too since I joined in late 3.5.

tbh im really biased cuz any patch/update with scara in it is s tier at least

2.3 is when I joined the game and I joined because I watched the shadows amidst snowstorms trailer.

I quit after 1st anniversary and came back today because of Fontaine now I have tons of story and plot but no Endgame 💀

Rewatching all of this has reinforced how my feelings about patches change over time. When it comes to first impression, story matters the most. When it comes to my lasting impression, the exploration/zone stuff is what I remember the most. It leaves me with weird rankings on zones: I liked Sumeru stories, but ultimately enjoyed Inazuma's exploration and the feeling of each island more. So far Fontaine seems to be doing great with both.

Its a shame we can't to events we missed or replay stories of those we did

The Sumeru Update was a pain in the ass to finish

3.0-3.3 is the best patches

very funny seeing people say "the latest summer event was way too short!" when my thought when playing it was "finally! a reasonably sized summer event!"

Nah, it's just that the people that wanted Eula had several hundreds of wishes saved. No need to pay when you can afford it by far (far being around 300 wishes lol)

teapiot was a good addition but i had way higher expectations when they said theyd add a housing system

i thought they meant youd be able to buy a house in one of the big cities or towns or something and decorate the interior and surrounding land so it felt kinda lazy for them to just slap an island in a teapot

i wanted a house in mondstadt

also the amount of stuff you can put in your teapot is way to low and im max rank so im not just saying that bc i havent upgraded it

2.8 hits close to home as that patch was the patch that i played the most and that i genuinely didn't want to be temporary
