Metro Last Light – Original vs. Redux on PC Graphics Comparison [Full HD]

Redux is great.
I've played the original and Redux, both versions are well worth it. Play the original version 1st then play the Redux so you can appreciate what a great game the original version is and how the Redux cleaned up its visuals.

Original was the best for last light more darker athmosphere lights are more yellow not more white everything look more realistic in that apocalypse

Fog/smoke effects are a lot better in the original.

you'd think they look almost the same, but when you play it, redux clearly looks better. Dynamic lighting on redux is far superior.

Playing Redux now after having completed the OG twice before and I feel like the Redux version gives me seizures with all of the bloom effects and lens flare, it's actually extremely bothering to the point I often can't even see enemies properly because of way too much lighting.. Original played much nicer imo in terms of graphics

So Metro 2033 Redux is remake of Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light Redux is remaster of Metro Last Light

Honestly, shoulda did a semi combination of it, brighter areas should have been stations, lights, surface, etc and darker in the non lived areas

They both look fine, but in the Redux, areas that are supposed to be pitch dark have been lightened up for some reason, and I feel like it's a noticeable downgrade.

Redux was done to achieve 60FPS on Consoles that's why it is downgraded what makes me sad is that only redux is available on steam for purchase.
