Lensa name?
Ответитьyeah Curtis, the form factor okay...but i liked to choose, a bigger aps-c camera like in a A7rv body I like a good EVF...
but the location of the viewfinder, I prefer an evf at the top in the middle and yes a joystick would be nice....
two bodys a smaller like the A6700 and a bigger one, I have a A6600 but i prefer my A9 body and a lcd as the A7rv
Today i will get mine . There is no silicon cover available anywhere. may be it is new thats y
ОтветитьMope for ME the canon R7 is better
Ответитьthe petite form factor of the whole apsc line is severely underrated. So much so that if I ever look to go full frame, i can't imagine buying something bigger than an α7C
ОтветитьI pre-ordered this to switch from DSLR soon as I saw the specs and completely blown away. Excellent camera! I've got some great shots with this little camera.
ОтветитьQuAwlE-eH PhO-oW
Ответитьeven this is hybrid camera, the A6700 comes "photo first" then " video", so it's very very good for photos, landscape, street, traveling.and to have a weather sealed is fantastic ( I mean XS20 doesn't have it)
ОтветитьHi Curtis! Good review…Regarding video only, which one do you think is better…Sony A6700 or Iphone 15 pro Max??
Ответитьα6700 with Viltrox 75mm f1.2 vs Sigma 56mm f1.4 - this should be a priority video 🏆
ОтветитьA6700 sucks
ОтветитьI just got mine as well with the new sigma 10-18 and the 24-70 on the way :) you made a wonderful choice. I came from the A6100
ОтветитьAbsolutely loving the specs and ergo of this camera. As an Apsc Nikon z50 shooter i have grown out of it, However still looking for the small form factor of apsc bodies. As Nikon are taking their time with an upgrade of the Z50 and not too many lenses to experiment creativity with, i think im sold on selling the Z50 ans putting the money towards the A6700.
ОтветитьAmazing video! Damn, got me thinking about making the upgrade jump from my a6400! 😅
ОтветитьSaving up money to buy this and the sigma lens combo 🫡 almost there!! And i cant wait
ОтветитьI am thinking of switching to this beast, would you say it's worth it from the sony zve10 ?
ОтветитьVery good video Sir. Really liked this video 👍
ОтветитьDude. What a good video. Paying attention to those things you are improving now. Good job!
ОтветитьWhy is your shutter button red?
ОтветитьWhat about fujifilm's APS-C lineup like the X-H2s or the X-T5?
ОтветитьDo you know if Sony removed the multi frame noise reduction setting for this camera (which I believe was present and very useful on all their other a6xx cameras)? Thanks!
ОтветитьWhat about the stabilization for videos..., same like Sony A7CII or Sony A6600 camera?
ОтветитьLove, love my a6400, and you’re the reason I chose that camera. I now believe I will upgrade to this one and you have lots to do with that!
ОтветитьI feel like this the camera for me. Hybrid and perfect starter one
ОтветитьDamn, I miss my Sigma 1850.
ОтветитьHow did you change your shutter button out? This would be a dope video to make
ОтветитьUplifting, fast paced, credible review, Curtis. Smooth! Good follow up to prior vid. Is the unit in this vid your own, or the borrowed one? Recently purchased this model.
Noted the red “soft button cap” on your shutter — nice touch😊.
Love the ergonomics, and front dial makes all the difference. Video button can be a custom button. No joy stick, but you can assign a custom button to reposition the focus point to a (previously) registered location (kinda like center pressing a joystick).
Can be a chore to assign custom settings to memory slots (1,2, 3, e.g.) because each memory bank retains the default settings. So, for instance, if you turn off AF assist light in a PASM set, it’s still on in memory 1,2,3 and M1, M2, M3 and M4.
Cheers!
I wish I could upgrade someday.. the a6700 is Bloody expensive here in the Philippines! 🥲😔
Ответитьi’ve got this camera but it’s doesn’t have that red shutter button 😮
ОтветитьIt’s amazing that the Osmo is comparable to this. 😊
Ответитьi am interested to know about the eye piece you using for 6700.. can you please share the link for it, if anyone has?
ОтветитьI'm just only here to say again - your positive energy is f positive! Love your content Curtis. I'm gonna buy Pro Max to experience the log vids. I saw it's similar like editing in Lr.
ОтветитьI just can't decide, will have to rent an A7C and this little guy for a hands on test. The a6700 cost as much as a mint condition used A7c + lenses in Europe. They are also the same weight and size. Depending on what lenses you're getting, the setup is the same weight as well (mainly primes). That Sigma 18-50 alone could hold me on APSC probably. I wasn't impressed with it on my a6000 though, so trying it out on the a6700 again.
ОтветитьIf you get the chance take the A6700 out with the Sony 20mm 1.8.
ОтветитьWould you guys risk using this for professional work? Specifically photography work?
Ответитьhi curtis, great video! is the a6700 autofocus a game changer over a6400? I got from the video it's a really good upgrade over a6400, but would the number in focus of shots taken really significantly increase?
in short I am trying to understand if this better autofocus can worth $1000 (if I sell the a6400 and buy the a6700 body) . I want to separate hype and edge scenarios from actual miss rate on the street.
background on me to allow you write a better recommendation:
I am not into videography so I wouldn't take advantage video improvements. in general I use the camera most weekends if weather allows me, I am not a professional since I don't earn for my photos, but I am not a casual dude using the camera just for holiday either.
Ordered this camera yesterday along with a sigma 18-50 2.8 as an upgrade from my Nikon 1j5. This will hopefully a more robust and capable camera for hiking and mountain bike trips but also something I don’t mind taking with me everywhere I go, for when those random opportunity shots present them selves
ОтветитьI sold my stunning a6600 for a R7 (beautiful camera) but the other day I tested an a6700 and I just re-fell in love with Sony’s apsc cameras. They’re just lovely in my hands, but most of all sensor quality and AF performace, mindblowing for just an apsc.
Nice video.
a6700 is a beast, but I don't think it's the best APSC camera. Best on Sony for sure.
Ответитьgreat review! i already recommended this camera to a friend looking to start photography!
ОтветитьHow did your camera come with the red shooter button?
ОтветитьThat’s it, I am buying this one! Upgrade from the 6300. For one, I want to start with videography as well, thanks again for a nice and inspiring review.
ОтветитьBeautiful Photos and a nice Camera. Hoping to have it in the future.
ОтветитьCan you review the Sigma 10-18mm F2.8 on the A6700?
