Ken Griffin says it's heartbreaking to see BYD overtaking TELSA. On the contrary, I think it is a great development. We in South East Asia need companies like BYD. This commentator says nothing about the Chinese government's help attended from the Very URGENT need to address the air pollution and same storms descending on Peking and elsewhere. He has rightly added that TELSA also gets Chinese government's support, but TELSA is selling at higher prices to earn more profit, to helping China to lower air pollution. We benefited from BYD.

They will be the shortest lived Kings in history, these cars are not at all practical except maybe to do short shopping trips. Too many problems with them, long charging times compared to ICE vehicles, low battery capacity in very cold weather, Fire hazard in that if they ignite the fire is very difficult to extinguish compared to petroleum or diesel fire. Very few charging points around still. They actually do very little to curve pollution, it's just a case of out of sight out of mind.

The other reason BYD beat Tesla is - looks.
If you want to drive around in a jello mould, buy a Tesla, they ALL look the same, horrible looking cars.
Every EV maker has overtaken Tesla in design and technology.
We have an excellent choice of cars to choose from. The US car market is quite small and limited. Many vehicle manufacturers dont even bother selling in the US..

BYD : A flaming coffin 😂
If you don't love your life, buy BYD 😅
BYD has a very bad reputation in EV ! If you don't know, do your research first before buying.

US government bailout of General Motors and Chrysler back in 2009. And now the US Treasury has come up with some final numbers. Earlier estimates from the Treasury predicted a loss of about $44 billion. That number was revised again in 2009 to $30 billion.

As a person living in Europe myself I think it’s shameful that Europe is trying to stop Chinese EVs. Here the ID.3, 4 and 5 are way too overpriced for what they are and while Teslas are priced relatively well, they’re still more expensive than BYD vehicles here. European manufacturers have always been overpriced in my opinion.

The only reason BYD is "successful" Its because its bankroll is the Chinese government and over 90% of their vehicles are sold to china and government controlled businesses there.

China is selling Electric Cars by force not by choice, Electric battery technology is still not developed to the point its feasible to be put into cars, there are lot of shortcomings be it Tesla or BYD, hyrogen fuel cells is the future EVs are just a stop gap 😁😁

I would suggest use battery made up of mixture of metals if we mix two metals like iron and copper it can be used as battery it holds charge and can be charged as well what you have to do is mix two metals like iron and copper after that use iron as anode in top of the battery and copper as cathod or vise versa it can be charged also by how you charge a battery

In my country, even the base model tesla 3 is extremely expensive and is regarded as a status symbol but byd is has become a common sight on the road. In emerging markets with demand for electric vehicles, byd has come ahead of tesla.

US is the first country developed EV.  To understand the success of China's EV, I would suggest focusing on how EVs were killed in the US. "Who Killed the Electric Car?" This is the video I borrowed from a public library. It documented the rise of EVs in the US, produced by seven manufacturers, including Toyota, Honda, and Nissan. The outperformed EVs were applauded by the leasehold owners.  Unfortunately, even against their will, all the EVs will be sent to disassemble.

BYD is like Maruti In India.. Maruti sells largest number of vehicles in India not because they super safe or premium, comfortable etc. Maruti is selling Maximum number of vehicles because its cheap and fuel efficient.. Elon Musk is right in terms of positioning Tesla as lifestyle product because it has better margins in long term.. Its like comparing Maruti with Mercedes or iPhone with Android.. Tesla is the Mercedes of EV's and BYD is Maruti .. Conclusion BYD may sell more cars then Tesla but aspiration customers with real money will always go for TESLA.. So relax Tesla is very well positioned.

Elon Musk is a thief and a liar. He has stolen from me after lying to the world. Until he returns what he has stolen from me it appears he's going to lose a million dollars for every penny he has stolen from me and who knows how many others. Musk's crime is the hubris to believe he can openly lie and steal and nothing can be done about it. He's now finding out as ye sow so shall ye reap is a REAL law that governs even the richest man alive. Until he rights his wrongs and apologizes, this curse brought on by his own ignorance will continue to bite him in his posterior...HARD, over and over again.
