XDm doesn’t need a new trigger and comes with steel sights. Those are both must do’s for every Glock. Case closed...

I think the only disadvantage for me is the high bore axis on the xd. Other than that, its a pretty looking gun.

Glocks were a big deal when they came out a million years ago, but now poly’s are everywhere and they’re all decent (minus hi point). They’re cheap as hell so just buy all of ‘em. I have 10 glocks and the xdm makes my 4th Springfield. They’re pound for pound identical but the XDs do have better ergonomics.

Thank you for your comparison & valued opinion between the Glock & XDM. I bought my XDM after doing a lot of research only to have all the Glocoids tell me it's a POS! Now it seems all the comparisons aren't sig & glock or HK & glock nope always seems to be the XD & Glock. The XDs all have heavier triggers. I like Glock too even the plastic feeling Time Cop video game recoil helps with staying on target. Glad to see my pistol selection running neck & neck with seemingly everyones favorite. Also interesting is the XD series seems to be increasing in value with people selling them used for more then a hundred more then I bought mine new.

Croatia won its war using xd style service guns. America and users of the Glock have yet to actually win anything in the past 30 years. Just saying.

XDM is the better handgun out of the box. Even you admit your glock is customized to improve the handle.

XDM has several bells and whistles that make it the optimal choice. Ambidextrous, better slide grip, slimmer profile over the barrel, better sights, stainless steel magazine, additional passive safety features... then there's the subjective stuff: handles similarly to a 1911, more grip room for men with larger hands, can be cocked off a belt, overall grip feels more comfortable and less "stiff." Smoother trigger pull, etc. Plus it aesthetically doesn't look like a 1980s VCR remote.

Not a huge fan of the Glocks grip angle.. Springfield I like, Baretta 92fs...I own. Love it!!!

I love my XDM ...very accurate I can shoot a wing off a fly..match threaded barrel, FDE, 4.5...i have several guns Glocks, Sigs n M&P but I shoot the Springfield better..I love it never failed me n I even conceal carry it I don't care ..I believe Hickok45 is missing on purpose with the XDM it's more accurate than that ..I could hit those targets n Hickok45 is a way better shooter than me..I don't like when he compares other guns to Glocks cause he's always gonna favor Glocks n that takes away from the XDM..I don't think if he ever did found a gun that was better than Glock that he would ever tell..lol..I love Hickok45 videos n I still trust his advice on firearms n before I buy any gun I see what Hickok45 says about it first...every gun I bought..not saying the XDM is better than Glocks just saying I shoot XDM better n it's very accurate n very reliable as well n it's no punk

The Springfield xd is the king of 45s. Glock is the king of 9mms.

I prefer Glock but have xdm because the grip is thinner like the g17. Even though it’s a hair longer the less angressive angle makes it print less under my shirt. I would have been fine with a 12rnd magazine with slightly shorter grip but I guess they wanted to compete with Glock. The sights sit higher on the xdm than the glock.

Question if I wanted to replace the factory trigger on the Glock 21 Gen 4 what can I replace it with and what is the best one I would like your opinion thank you sir

Glock is very distinctive looking. It was a wise move on their part to make the flat top, its looks cool. And it’s hard to argue with your experience.

I have this Springfield XDM .45! Glad I bought this pistol, it is so much fun to shoot at the range, great for a home defense pistol too!

I have a Glock 17 and a XD-45 Stainless. I like the mags on the XD better.. Glock mags are kind of sticky

I have both. You said the XDM trigger there was a slight issue with it. That was visible in the video, seems the XDM was a little bit more violent. (lol) just gave a little more in kick. I have felt this in all my XDM's 40, 9mm compacts and subs... There was less felt recoil in the Glock. To me, the Glock was just smoother.

Both are good. BUT if I had to bet my life on which would fire all the time NO MATTER WHAT, Glock would be my go to. They work, have been torture tested unlike no other, are super simple, and you can ALWAYS have confidence that your gun will go bang when you pull that trigger....

How can you make those service firearms look like sub compacts in those big paws
