Just a heads up, none of the mods are compatible with each other, with the exclusion of Nvidium and Sodium. Nvidium requires sodium to run, hence the similar name!
Edit: Nvidium will actually run on any 16xx series card or above as they also use the Turing architecture. I made the mistake of saying it was 20xx series and above, sorry about that!
with sodium, sodium extra, ThreadTweaks and nvidium I was able to average around a smooth 265 fps with the game at 4K and 32 chunks. same settings with the mods disabled was a wopping 22 frames per second- lmao
Ответитьas a side note theres also the distant horizons mod which is comparable to nvidium where you can have insane render distances, it uses LOD's instead, it'll also get serverside support soon too
ОтветитьComparing the "rendering" of chunks isn't really fair to other mods than Optifine. The other mods purely focus improving rendering performance FWICT. Optifine seems to be optimizing chunk generation and/or lighting calculations. You oughta compare with mods that actually handle optimizing that side of things to compare that
Ответитьhow unlocked "max gpu memory"? this setting locked on 2048 mb
ОтветитьI used to only use optifine cause i thought it was at peak performance... untill i wanted to switch to fabric and decided to give sodium and its mod army a try... yeah it takes more to install but my laptop has never been happeir lmao
ОтветитьVulkan mod really isnt meant to be just a performance mod its a mod that Replaces the openGL api with Vulkan so future mods can take advantage of certain features vulkan has over openGL
ОтветитьIs Nvidium and VulkanMod together a good idea? (I use an NVIDIA-gpu)
ОтветитьBro I can't play another minecraft version I can play only 1.16.5 if I open another version so it open too late I use lazydfu but it fail please help me
Ответитьwhat if you have an AMD gpu?
ОтветитьCan you use nvidium and sodium together? I hope you can. That would be cool.
ОтветитьI love how i get the same performance with every single modcombination. It doesnt seem to do anything xD
Im running Sodium and Iris for shader support though
Playing completely vanilla would still have the same results for me
Yo anyone knows if there is sodium for forge? I have version 1.20.1
ОтветитьHave you experienced any hitching while crossing chunk borders? I’ve been having that problem for a while with sodium and cannot find a fix
Ответитьyou can go into the gamerules and change the radius for where the player can spawn
ОтветитьI loooooove Nvidium being able to see so far is such a nice thing to have!
ОтветитьHow do I download nvidium
ОтветитьI've been using Vulkan ever since I discovered it on modrinth, its a lot of trial and error to know whats compatible or not but once you got your modlist done, it all runs as smooth as butter without any stuttering like sodium has
Ответитьyet none are compatible with forge lol wanna play with mods and there is no mods for anything but forge expect maybe some of the top ones
ОтветитьIn order to use Nvidium you need a GTX 16xx or newer, not 20xx... Everything else is nice though.
ОтветитьBro thank you so much i just got a new pc with a dedicated gpu and was getting the same fps as my laptop before i was getting like 70 fps now im getting like 200-1300
ОтветитьI don’t know why you would pair sodium with optifine. Sodium and Iris are made for each other and optifine is just outdated junk at this point.
Ответитьi hate fabric modloader :/
ОтветитьYeah I dont get it, i have a better pc than you with a ryzen 9 3900 and a rtx 2080 and cant get a stable 60
ОтветитьI got GTX 1050TI 4GB , any chance nvidium would do smt for me? or work good ig?
ОтветитьSodium rules and its not even close.
Ответитьhow fo you increase your render distance beyond 32 without optifine? I have tried to do it with vulkan, sodium, and nvidium but it won’t let me.
ОтветитьWhy is it that we both have a 2060 and my pc caps at around 120-130?
ОтветитьSo I downloaded the Faboulously Optimised modpack and damn it was a wonder.... for the first time my dream of playing with shaders came true...The game was playable with 16 chunks render distance and enhanced default shaders....I was happy!....For 15 minutes! I realised that even with these optimisations...maybe I shouldnt put my potato PC through such extreme loads...so I opened my CPU panel and touched my GPU to feel the temperature. IT BURNT MY FKIN FINGER!
Ответитьwhy does optifine crash in my forge
ОтветитьNvidium needs a forge port
ОтветитьBro rubidium is the goat literally sodium on forge
ОтветитьFor those looking for an OptiFine alternative for Forge: Try Embeddium, a Sodium fork. Offers FAR better performance than OF in my experience. It's also more compatible with other mods and more mod pack-friendly (so expect mod packs having this mod).
For OF's graphical features:
• Oculus (Iris fork / shaders)
• RyoamicLights (LambDynamicLights fork / dynamic lighting)
• Rubidium Extra (Sodium Extra fork / video settings)
• Connectedness (CTM)
• Entity Model Features (CEM)
• Entity Texture Features (animated, random, and emissive mob textures, incl. even the players').
All we need is a CIT alternative, and we're golden!
pleas link your corsour mouse !
Ответитьi have such a low end pc that even with all of these mods and 8 render distance it stutters like hell
Ответитьso is it possible to use sodium nvidium and vulcan all together for the most amount of performance?
Ответитьi only use optifine because of how many mods use optifine , otherwise sodium and fabric.
ОтветитьALSO OPTIFINE IS CLOSED SOURCE!!
ОтветитьDistant Horizons is pretty neat
ОтветитьThe autor of OptiFine is an asshole, so I would never use it heh
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure that at this point Mojang isn't putting that much effort into heavily optimizing Java because they hope everyone slowly migrates over to Bedrock so they can kill it lol
ОтветитьI use sodium and Nvidium it's working for me
ОтветитьIm hoping vulkan mod gets more mature, and then merged into base game; that would solve most compatibility issues, and you could have the optimization of something like sodium, with the MUCH more performant vulkan renderer powering it. It would also allow for vanilla Minecraft performance to be reasonable. Edit: real raytracing shaders would also become possible(similar to mincreaft RTX in bedrock), due to vulkan having access to GPU rt cores, which I believe opengl does not.
Ответитьi have ~750fps with optifine and without changing settings
ОтветитьI playing minecraft in computer of the school with 200fps+
ОтветитьDid you have it for a mobile version?
ОтветитьI've used both the Fabolously optimized and simply optimized and I recommend simply optimized, it's much faster
Ответитьanother thing about optifine is that even though it is technically only supported by Forge, the mod Optifabric allows the optifine mod file to work with fabric and other fabric mods, which is actually the reason I'm still using it to this day.
ОтветитьBroo why Sodium with Lithium and Indium on my laptop gets only 38 fps while just Optifine gets 148?
Ответить
