This sounds quite similar to William Ryan Key's work that he worked on after Yellowcard broke up.

Beautiful and haunting. So genius to combine Hammock's melancholy vibe with emo lyrics! This arrangement highlights how surprisingly sad the lyrics actually are. Great to hear this song from my childhood with fresh twist. Can't wait to hear the whole album.

I'm going out on a limb and saying that I hope I'm not the only one who felt a multitude of emotions ranging from being overcome to a hidden inner happiness (could be nostalgia or just the feeling post rock gives) to feeling the peace and calm this version gives.
