You guys should really consider making the TD-3 and TD-3-MO firmware open source. These boxes would be even better with a modern sequencer etc.

TD-3 no longer detected by Synthtribe app (MacOS Monterey)... all was flawless. RD-6 no prob. Computer sees and syncs with both devices (TD-3 and RD-6), however, Synthtibe software doesnt see the TD-3, just the RD-6. Anybody have any ideas? this was all working so great... 😭

That being said I think the TD-3 could use an alternative more intuitive and immediate sequencer mode. For me it doesn't have to follow the ancient 303 quirks.

One thing jumped out at me straight away with this. The filters are too tame. An old Bassline just isn't. See one of the less understood elements with these old 100 series junkers is that over time components degrade. In the 303's case this often shows itself as a kind of roughness when you push it's filters. That rasping sound with a square wave is probably the best example. It gets worse (ie: better) over time. Usually. Having said that I've come across a Teebee that basically sounded like a wet fart. So what does that mean? It does not mean you should rush out and get grifted by some scalper flogging an old plastic box for 4 grand, no. It means that if you want that rasp, chances are you're going to want to tune this thing internally. The other issue is that this thing is 200 dollars more expensive to the earlier unit here in the AU region. As in $439 vs $239 in online stores at the time of this post. That... is a bit much for a few extra components.
