Im sorry but these comments just sound like privileged children complaining yall have to understand with millions of people being new to sims some on pc some on console you have to understand not everyone can afford packs & cc. When she makes these base game builds she catering to a wayyyy bigger spectrum then just people that cant afford packs. Millions of people have just started playing the game for free me myself on ps4 imagine how discouraging it is to want to watch sims 4 content and imagine everything is cc and from packs it excludes a ton of people like myself. I genuinely enjoy her builds and 9/10 im not even here for the build I just love her personality so if you want extravagant builds find sb else but dont bash her for being inclusive you sound like spoiled children mad abt the fact they spent money on something and arent being catered to just because you feel like you should

What if you did like an opposite budget challenge? Like set a pretty high budget and see if you can make a normal looking house but using a ridiculously large budget as a minimum

She builds pack limited and non base game builds all the time. When she DOES go all out with packs, people complain. If her videos are so boring then don't watch them... I watch her videos because Kayla is funny and makes interesting commentary ABOUT the builds. I agree she might benefit from taking a break and renewing herself creatively, but the degree to which people are entitled to having their free content exactly the way they want it is embarrassing, not to mention how un-constructive some of the critique I've seen is.

Watching her build process is so cool and interesting.

I’m relieved that I’m not the only one that thinks she needs to start mixing up her content… it’s become a joke that she only builds blue suburbans but that jokes not really funny anymore. I enjoy Kayla as a personality, the content is stale.

I don’t know if anyone has suggested this before, but i think it would be cool to do a challenge where you have to build using a randomly generated color palette!

I always find it confusing when people add a rug to a carpeted room 😦 The only reason my own room (in real life) has a rug as well as carpet is because I have a door that leads out into the backyard, so I wanted some protection for that section of carpet.

The teen could be a neat Sim who has a problem. With clutter.

These comments suck. I get that everyone wants to see different content, but the entitlement is hurtful. Does anyone wonder why Kayla doesn’t read comments or why she gets upset when people tell her what to do? It’s because thousands of people are trying to give her opinions every day! I can’t imagine reading this comment section and getting anything positive out of it. I would just be upset. Idk, maybe people just don’t know what it’s like to have people constantly telling you what you’re doing isn’t good enough. There a tons of simmers with amazing builds, just go watch something else instead of being rude. She’s a human being. She has feelings. She’s asked people not to tell her what to do and made her feelings pretty clear, I’m not sure why people get so bent out of shape they need to bash Kayla for daring to make a video you might not find entertaining. Shes complaining about there being limited or not enough swatches and items in base game but they LITTERLY exist in other packs so???? Kayla if you're tired of using the base game bed or rug than use one from a pack it's simple. Can't watch these videos by her anymore they're just all copy paste from one another

kayla, you should spin a color wheel for each room in a house and if you land on maybe pink, you can’t use ANY pink in that room.

I love your videos and streams and build videos but I really wish you'd do more different houses. Base game starter home on a very very small budget is all we get and 8 years after release I'm sure most people have some packs at least and even then, personally I often download houses and just replace things I don't have. There's only so many ways you can build a base game starter house on the same lot and honestly those begin to look very depressing and samey. You've done more than enough base game only builds, let yourself actually use the packs we have now!

I like your build video’s and sometimes I download a build from the gallery. I don’t own all the packs (by far!) but I don’t mind replacing some with items I do have. And even if I do have the item I sometimes replace some to make the build fit my family.

Like most people I would love for you to use more packs or at the very least different base game furniture. Most players would love to have access to all the packs and maybe utilising different packs in your builds would inspire other builders too.

I feel like the reason Kayla limits herself to Base Game builds is because whenever I look through the comment sections on her Non-Base Game Lots in the Gallery, there are SO many people begging and/or straight up trashing Kayla for not building for the Base Game; people are genuinely mean to her on there and keep saying she's either showing off or being inconsiderate whenever she uploads something that isn't Base Game only.
